Looks like Moss is contemplating a comeback for the 2012 season.

If the price is right....I'd take him.

No, I'm not trying to catch-up to anyone on postings. Do anyone here play fantasy football?

Yeah people usually make leagues at the beginning of workouts / draft day I'm sure someone will make one just keep an eye out when the time gets closer.

Take him only if we lose Bowe.

Do you think it may be possible that a threat like Moss could elevate Bowe's play even more?

That would be one h*ll of a tandem there..

Just a thought....

I play in about 30 Fantasy leagues a season, I start planning right after each season. So you now that is my hobby. If anyone want to get invites to my leagues, just send me a message in the private section on this site, and I will be happy to add you to my list. In my keeper leagues, I sent out trophies to the league champion.

Does anyone really believe that Moss can still run a 4.3 40?

Even if he's at 4.6 I'd be impressed.

The price would be if you are good enough to win the Fantasy league Championship! Are you good enough? I don't play for $$, unless we start one.

I don't like him, too much trouble no matter how cheap he came. No, no, no!

If we could get him cheap and he's willing to be a 3rd or 4th stringer then absolutely.

We have far more depth issues than to waste a spot for a "niche guy", who only runs a straight line, poorly on to boot. If you're not running the table undefeated, he gives up.

Not what we need.

I vote "HELL NO", if that's an option! :D

You are absolutely right about the quit thing. His "mentor" would know....

No.

He became bored with the game. And joining The Chiefs would not rekindle his love of the game.

Either he goes back to his daddy in New England, plays for The Cowboys, or shouldn't bother.

How many people want Albert Haynesworth?

The problem with Haynesworth is he wants the glory and stats. He's not going to get that in a 3-4. If he came here it'd be for the money and then he'd be a cancer, no thanks.

Moss at the most will get an invite to mini camp. He is probably hard up for cash like most guys trying to make a comeback. No way you can take a year off in your 30's and expect to be able to produce. Funny how he wants to come back immediately after the Pats played in the Super Bowl.

For all of the things Moss, was, is, could be, etc. it has been publicly noted that he is a frugal spender and does not have financial difficulties. Hence, his old saying, "I deal in cash money". What he has is his, not various lending institutions.

For an athlete of his caliber....I would belive that he could take a year off and still be extremely productive. Now, getting him to play hard every play...Dunno.

However one of the things I watched on a program about him was that he lulled the defenders to sleep. Then burned them hard. That was part of his game. Keep the safety from biting, etc etc and create the big play.

Being the person I am, I do prefer to see 100% effort each play and actually coached a young man that was a "lolly-gagger" like Moss. When the kid wanted to play, he was a beast and could dominate but when he wanted 1, 2 or 3 plays off...He damn well took them. Sometimes folks are just lazy.

We actually fit pretty well in the possibilites of where he might sign. He and Bowe could make a nice compliment towards a potentially lethal passing game.
