Well here we go

Marshall Traded to Chicago for 2 3rd round picks (http://www.nfl.com/news/story/09000d5d82791ddb/article/dolphins-shipping-wr-marshall-to-bears-in-blockbuster-trade)

Looks like it frees up money for Manning, but no receiver so Wayne to Miami???

Maybe they had to make room for the Manning traveling salvation show. Wayne, Clark the whole gang.

Roy doesn't it concern you that two teams have got rid of him or does the cutler Marshall connection trump that?

Well, the connection thing and the fact that Johnny Knox and Devon Hester are the best Receivers the Bears have right now. I think Brandon can still play. Two 3rd round picks is pretty cheap and the Bears don't have a history of drafting well, anyway. (Of course, that was with Jerry Angelo as GM. They've got a Chief over there now, so I'm optimistic.) :smile

Reggie Wayne has agreed to stay a Colt. So that nix's the reuniting drama with Manning.

Marshall and Cutler are reunited though and that could be a very very good thing for da' Bears.

They also got rid of Mike Martz and his sack-happy, high risk/high reward, no-audible, throw-it-to-a-spot-and-just-expect-the-receiver-to-be-there offense. Mike Tice (who had huge offensive production in Minnesota) is actually going to game plan to take advantage of the offense's strengths rather than try to find players to fit his offensive scheme.

The Bears still need to pick up another top notch receiver, but Brandon Marshall is definitely a step up from Roy Williams.
