Fans helped convince RT Winston to sign with Chiefs - Kansas City Chiefs - CBSSports.com RapidReports (http://www.cbssports.com/nfl/rapid-reports/post/17907806)

According to the above report from CBS. Eric Winston was partly convinced to sign with us because we the fans were so vocal about wanting him to sign here. For those of you who are on twitter, good job!

I'd love to know how many Chiefs fans tweeted him when he was in KC. I know I replied to every tweet he made while he was in town but I never paid much attention to how many unique users were doing the same.

He said on average he may get 50 tweets to him after a good game telling him good game. He said, he was getting hundreds each day from Chiefs fans telling him to come to KC.

To Late! But go ahead and get A. Franklin a tweet or 5000. I wouldnt mind him at NT now a year later with his stock a little lower.

I fully admit, I got a twitter account solely for keeping up on Chiefs and NFL news. What other form of media gives you such direct access to the insiders in our beloved sport?

Besides, I work 60 hours a week and spend the rest of my time with my wife and kids. It doesn't do much good to talk to my 1 follower who's a political action group for a state I don't live in.
