there already crowning the broncos, there super bowl favs, chargers still havent hit there ceiling. The AFC West is a two horse race..... Well no one told Warpaint hes not in the race. I love under dogs and thats part of why I love the Chiefs and thats because I've been a under dog my entire life. Ryan Lilja said it best, Its fun being under dogs. No one is worried about you till you stand up and give them a right hook to the face. And thats exactly what I expect us to do this year, Arrowhead will be rocking, we have needs but are in far better shape then weve been since id say 2003. Now not comparing us to that great year cause were two different teams. Our oline finally looks solid and im still open to bringing in decastro, defensively i hope we dont take a d tackle early cause they become busts 9 out of 10 times, I like kuechly and hightower to make probualy the best lb groups in the league. This will be a fun year and cant wait to watch us play with that chip on our shoulder, peyton didn't want to even look us in the eyes well hell be watching us from the turf :chiefs:

broncos are getting way to much hype. just like the eagles last year.here are some facts for you donkey fans

.your qb is old and broken. great in his prime yes. in his prime right now? not even close

.your running game is at best mediocre (ask my fantasy team from last year)mcgahee is going to encounter a season similar to thomas jones season last year.old and nothing left in the tank.only there for a paycheck.
.knowshow moreno is injury prone.and was never really good to begin with.

.tebow not only made your running game better. but also made opposing teams dumb down there gameplan against you.
.teams did not have time during the offseason to plan against an akward offense like you had last year.
.your secondary is old
.you have the 2nd toughest schedule in the league this year
.manning is a glory hog.he is not going to mesh in the locker room right off the bat. would i take him over cassell well duh.but the chiefs have a better team as a whole
bottom line is you guys way overperformed last year. due to there being no off season ,a weak schedule and a qb who confused the hell out of the whole league.your defense is not great your running game is weak and you do not know what you are getting from your qb.

i will say demaryius thomas is an awesome receiver who is way overlooked.

..good luck with all that screw the donkeys

There is a storm arising, You can feel it. The vibrations are there! You can almost hear it! The age old traditions are there. Arrowhead! Arrowhead, defend our home! Win at home, the AFC west is ours to take. We have already the team to do it, and we will. Win at home! Make Arrowhead the most feared NFL Stadium to play in again! That is key to all! What I want most of all is no losses at the Home of The Chiefs! Arrowhead, if we lose games at other teams home, it happens. I want a perfect win record for games played at Arrowhead!

Our home games this year: Broncos, Raiders, Chargers, Ravens, Bengals, Falcons, Panthers, Colts. I think we win 6 at home easy. The Ravens will be our toughest opponent (12-4 last year), but they were only 4-4 on the road, so we could beat them. The Falcons (10-6 last year) were also 4-4 on the road. The Bengals are the only other team we play at home that had a winning record last year (9-7) but they were 4-4 at home and 5-3 on the road. I think we beat the other 5 teams at home and one or two of these three, so 6-2 or 7-1 seems very doable to me.

I'm not greedy. I will take 7-1 at home and 5-3 on the road. That would give us a 12-4 record and likely guarantee us a home playoff game against a weaker opponent. We would also probably get a first round bye. From there we are just 2 wins away from the Super Bowl! :D

I would take this. There seems to be so much animosity towards Peyton and the Broncos. I hate the Broncos more than any team in the league, but I think they are easily the most overrated team from last season.

I believe the Chiefs will be better than the Broncos even if Peyton survives the whole season which is a big question mark. Suddenly our division went from one of the weakest to one of the strongest in my opinion. And we are the best in that division.

i'm expecting to beat den twice, w/that realisticly lookin at 10-4 and winning the division. a stellar draft could bump that up a game or two. i think we are still a year away from becoming an all around solid team on both offense and defense

10-4-2, maybe?

Actually, I like 10-4 because I can see us winning 10 and losing 4. The other two games could go either way, so anywhere between 10-6 and 12-4 sounds about right.

Hopefully ...

19-0

Why not us.

Unfortunately, Cassel is the reason we won't go 19-0. He has shown that he can be competent enough to be efficient, but by no means has he shown himself to be elite and I can't see 19-0 happening without an elite quarterback at the helm. Doesn't mean we can't win a Super Bowl with him though as long as we have a sufficiently amazing supporting cast... :D

Damn too bad Pioli doesn't have that information. You would think since Matt is the only one holding us back now he would have tried harder to replace him. All we got was someone to replace Palko.

I think Manning is going to be a HUGE factor for the Broncos this year. Without him I figured them for 4-12 or at best 5-11. If he stays healthy all year I can see them going 8-8 or maybe 9-7. But that won't be near good enough with us going somewhere between 10-6 and 12-4. The Chargers are done and the Raiders are in their usual state of chaos. The Chiefs will win the AFC West, and get at least one playoff win this year.
