The Green Bay Packers had already ended one-half of an era with their offensive tackle tandem of Mark Tauscher and Chad Clifton when they released Tauscher immediately after the NFL lockout ended in July 2011. The Packers faced another difficult decision this offseason with Clifton, who is coming off back surgery and will turn 36-years-old in June. Clifton missed approximately three months of the 2011-12 regular season because of back and leg injuries.
