This kid is severely underrated in my opinion. I've seen him play (way too many times, to be honest) and he's going to be a gem.

RBs just arent valued very highly anymore. An average running back can get good yardage behind a good OL. There are the all-star RBS (the A. Peterson, Trent Richardson, Jamaal Charles RBs) and then there seems to be a big drop off in perceived value for the second tier guys.

In my first mock draft before free agency, I had Poe in the first (after a trade and later in the first)...

AND I had Gray coming to us in the 3rd. Getting him in the 6th is ridiculous!!

I had Jeff Fuller in the 5th and he's still available... he'd be a nice pick up as well.

Neither of them were resigned. Im not sure if Battle is still available, I know SD and a couple other teams interviewed him.

I like it. He has 4.47 speed and can catch the ball out the backfield. Here's some BIO:

Gray started 29 games, played in 49, collected 3,298 yards and 30 touchdowns rushing; 776 yards (103 catches) and six scores receiving; and 2,349 yards and two more touchdowns on kickoff returns. That totaled 6,423 all purpose yards at that rate of 131.08 per game.

He was projected as a 3rd or 4th rounder. There's been a lot of debate regarding the selection of Poe at #11, but since then, they have just ripped it a new one with getting not only need players, but good football players & things are looking good, not only now, but long-term.

Beautiful job by the Chiefs brass. I was apprehensive coming into the draft & after the selection of Poe at #11, but they've completely annihilated that apprehension in a resounding way since round 1.

5-10, 206 lbs, 4.47 speed, 21 bench press reps & last until 6th round? Go figure. No freaking way he should lasted beyond round 5.

The Chiefs brass has just ripped the guts out of this draft & I've been following their drafts for decades & this is looking like their best in a long time -- especially considering the talent level that was already there & the FA's they signed.

O-line in the 7th would just be camp fodder. I think teams need to be looking at high ceiling/low risk guys like Burfict, Fuller, etc. Guys with red flags but REAL upside that could see them become regular starters or potential stars.

I absolutely love the pick! Cyrus should give us a excellent #2 back to go with Jamal Charles in time. We will be lucky enough to be able to get him up to NFL speed this coming season with Hillis on board. Even if we did re-sign Hillis, a trio of Charles, Hillis and Gray is tremendous with quality depth across the board.
