My father took me to my first Chiefs game in 1963 at Municipal Stadium. I was in the 7th grade and I've been a Chiefs fan since. It's been a roller coaster ride, but I'm really feeling good about the direction the Chiefs are going. The Chiefs are the youngest team, have a lot of talent and have built really good depth. I haven't been this excited about the Chiefs in a long time. I think the next few years are really going to be fun!!!

Go CHIEFS!!!!!!!!!

Agreed. The 2012 schedule is not an easy one, to say the least, and this young talent is going to get some seasoning real quickly & and prepare them for seasons to follow.

Things are looking up defiantly. I started supporting KC in the dire 2-14 2008 season and this is the first season I have genuine optimism.

Hopefully as we improve more KC games will get shown over here on UK Television as only one got shown last season.

I'm impressed you came back for 2009, and you're right this is going to be a fun year.

I've only been following the Chiefs since the early 90's, but this is the most talented roster I've seen them field.

I'm a little concerned about CB depth. If Flowers stays healthy, we could have a great season IMO. Bowe needs to play like he's playing for a new contract(because he is). Cassel needs to prove he can throw the deep ball when he has protection. The ACL's all need to be back to full strength. Crennel needs to prove to the world that he isn't the same pushover coach he was in Cleveland. If those things happen, there's nobody this team can't beat.

I'm quietly, cautiously, optimistic.

I take the hope for the best but prepare (not expect) for the worst philosophy.

I always believe that every game we play, we can win! I will always believe that until the end!

To me it is important to have a strong pre season. Show some tenacity and make some plays. We never do that and playing too conservative has had slow starts. A young team needs early confidence.

I'm the most confident about this Chiefs team since the Vermeil era.

With that said my #1 thing I want to see out of this training camp is toughness. I want to see a team that will give 100% and knock you on your a**!!! Last years pre-season had to be one of the lowest points of my Chiefs fandom and that goes back to the 80's.
