What FA QB or possible backup would you like the chiefs to try out. I say David Garrard he had some good seasons and got injured and hasnt really had a shot since...

Actually he was playing for the united football league. Marty Schottenheimer coached the VA team to the championship..

colt mccoy. We blew our chances during the offseason for any other decent Back up qb. Crennel And Pioli had too much of a man crush on cassel to threaten his job.

Pioli has bet the farm on Cassel. He isn't man enough to admit a mistake and correct it, instead he is enough of a child to keep making that mistake and hoping we are too ignorant to notice.

I would say that was a really foolish way to behave but week after week the crazies come out of the woodwork pushing the kool-aid that everything is fine with Cassel. You can tell me water ain't wet all you want but I know it is, just like I know Cassel ain't a starting QB in the NFL.

The Chiefs need to turn the offense over to Quinn. Find out if he can play, give him time to get comfortable out there and let him have the rest of the season. The worst he can possibly do is improve our draft position.

I feel so bad for the rest of the team, you can see it on their faces, they play so hard and try to get something going and then Cassel just takes a crap on it time after time. If it is so hard to hit a receiver from 5 yards away then how come it happens every week on every level of football including the NFL, just not for the Chiefs?

Shannon Sharpe lit Cassel UP on the post game show. Man, was glad someone cut the S*** and just said it.

manning, cambel, henne, jarrard, mccoy, orton, shT even tebow. Not to mention the potential draft picks we could have pickd. Cyrus gray finaly played today. where has he been.

The Chiefs are embarrassing they really are. Today's performance and effort was inexcusable. The Chargers are not THAT good, and we seem to make everyone look like SB contenders. The only reason nobody is laughing at us is that nobody even cares enough about us, we are an irrelevant franchise in America's favorite sport. Sad, Mr. Hunt doesn't deserve this before he left us he did everything in his power to make sure KC was respected and held in high regard, now we're not even important enough to be laughingstocks.

Sorry about that rant, ummmm Cassel sucks we know this. Either draft a qb in next year's draft or now that RG3 is confirmed GOAT then maybe trade for Kirk Cousins or something. But something needs to be done, I would settle for Quinn for now.

We could bring on Aaron Rodgers as competition to Cassel and it would still be Cassels job. Pioli isn't gonna let anyone take the job from Cassel, regardless of how much of an improvement they are. Keep sucking Matt, there's no pressure to get better, or win!

IMO Matt Cassel is the luckiest man in the world. There is no other employer in the world who would pay a person that much money to suck that F'n bad!

I wish Pioli were my boss!!

I've always been a Vince Young fan, wouldn't mind him being given a chance in KC to be honest.

Campbell is no better than Cassell. Supposedly we tried to go after Manning and he wasnt interested. Henne, Garrard, McCoy, Tebow ... seriously, they are all proven to be BAD QBs. Orton was as good as Cassell, moved it down the field and couldnt put it in the endzone.

Start Ricky Stanzi...Quinn had his chance in Cleveland and blew it...give Stanzi a chance...like people have said...whats the worst that could happen, we get a better draft pick?

Matt Flynn might have been a good PU. Not sure why he isn't starting in Seattle. I know he was banged up for awhile...

I say as long as were in the playoff hunt Cassel stays. As soon as we fall out, let Stanzi sling it and see what hes got.

At this point all of these QB's are better then Cassel IMO. He has 4 fumbles and 7 Intercetions in 4 games! I'll take campbell over him in a heart beat at this point.

He completed less than 50% of his passes and didn't have a td. Russel wilson kicked our arse. That qb from Louisiana Monroe. Beat arkansas lost to clemson and baylor barely and is in the top 5 qb rating in college against stiff competititon.

I'm in the Stanzi camp. I'd rather spend the year finding out what we've got in Stanzi than watching the same season play out that we've seen the last 8 years. At least we could develop a QB... either that or trade Cassel for Moore in Miami. Miami wants a good backup for Tannehill and they'll get one in Cassel. Meanwhile, KC will get a QB who has the potential to start in this league and be successful.

If Cassel continues this trend this week, then I will be on board with making a trade. I dont think Quinn or Stanzi could be an answer. The only other options I could see would be trading for Moore, or Skelton (AZ). With the Cards being 4-0, they may welcome losing the QB controversy.

Trade deadline is the Tuesday after Week 8.

I'd be willing to trade straight across for Romo at this point. Give them both a fresh start.

You obviously let Quinn play. If he doesn't get better as the season progresses you give the last few games to Stanzi.

If he is also terribad, then you can place the end result in front of Pioli and run all 3 of them out of town.

Why would Manning give serious consideration to an organization with Scott Pioli at the helm? Seriously, with the bull **** he pulled with Haley why would he? Oh, that's right he didn't, and that's why.

On the positive side, only 5 more games until Daboll figures out how to call the offense to match the personnel.

Cassel isn't even a CFL QB. One solution, run the ball on every play :s

Bull$%&@ with Haley? That was a disfunctional family to begin with, don't bring Haley into this you will lose credibility. Haley had no business as our headcoach, period.

I honestly can't believe, that with the resources available to the management of this franchise, they haven't found a HC that is capable of giving us a winning season in the last 7 friggin years! (winning season = at least 1 playoff game.)

Sure you can say that Haley got us to the playoffs but was it really Haley or was it Weiss calling the shots behind the scenes that ultimately got us there? Sure seems funny that as soon as Weiss took another job our offensive production went down the drain and we managed to lay an egg in that playoff game against the Ravens.

I've been a fan of this team for a long time and I've spent a helluva lot of money on them but no more. Until they prove to be a team worth watching I'm done spending any money to go to their games. I'll watch on TV for a couple more weeks as Romeo and Cassel totally EFF the season away and my football for the year will be over. Last weeks game was excruciating to watch, I can't force myself to go through that very many more times.

At this point I'm more willing to spend my money on the banner than on the team.

I guess where you work you'd be fine with your boss listening in on your phone calls and the 'private' conversations you have in your office.

Personally I'd rather not work under those conditions, but to each their own.

We will never know what kind of coaching job Haley could have done because he was never given the opportunity to run with it. Coulda been worse, coulda been better, but we'll never know.

The point is that a QB looking to coast into the end of his career and try to pick up one more SB win along the way is not going to choose an organization with the kind of reputation the Chiefs now have thanks to Pioli.

I actually would prefer to have a Coach with the fire that Haley had and would light a fire under your ars like he did Matt Cassel last year. I'm not digging Crennel's soft style. Players aren't responding. Proven coaches have strong leadership skills and attitude that players need. Specially ours.
