He did an excellent job of stating the obvious, and an even better job of eluding the questions everyone is asking.

Thanks, Scott. Obvious, but yet pointless all at the same time.

Now go run back and raise hell with Romeo so we can go 7-9, have a crummy draft position for the next GM & HC.

Kent Babb took some time on Whitlocks podcast this week to discuss the mess that is the Chiefs.

It's worth a listen.

Some strong language involved so heads up.

Thanks for the link and kudos to Jason and Kent for telling it like it is, especially regarding the most overrated player in the NFL -- they hit the nail right on the head with that one.

Babb's analysis of the "backup QB" situation was dead on as well. Pioli is truthful when he says he never said to a coach you must start Cassel, he has just never provided a real alternative to Matt and by default you have to start him.

Makes you wonder if possibly by design.

So last year our backup qb was a guy that couldn't even make a CFL team as a back-up (Palko not Orten). and it's not much better this year. He supports Romeo, who is frankly AWFUL! And again we're looking at starting all over. I had no idea Pioli started with Cleveland. Of course he did, we're the KC Browns, that's a real high bar to set. This just blows!!!

Chris#58...Many thanks for posting that link (Jason Whitlock) I listened to the entire show. Both guys make soild points. I never knew about SP & his weird ways inside the Chiefs offices. Let's just cut our losses & move on.

You know we are stuck with this yahoo for another 2 years...right? Crennel will return and we will see the same crappy coaching (boy does the defense suck) and I am not too sure we won't see Cassel for one more year. :efpge:

Until they start playing to win the game, instead of playing not to loose the game, it won't matter who's under center.

Where do we find these clowns?

Daboll came in and talked the big talk and said all the right things. What the hell happened to what he did the first "game" against the Cards?

Both hires were an extreme stretch for sure.
