Only took 8 games to make the switch. Gary Gibbs has been promoted to DC.

See I think they should do the exact opposite, get Romeo away from the team and let him focus more on the defense.

I'm sure they're just biding their time til seasons end. Funny it's our Offense that is struggling most, but our D that gets shaken up.

Exactly

Lets all rally and go 5-11

Hard to be excited when your 1-7 about improving your squad.

The only thing I can try and be positive about is maybe this means they can retain RAC as DC once he gets fired as HC...

I honestly want him completely gone after this season. We need a new attitude in the locker room with NO carryover from Romeo IMO.

Hopefully the next HC will make the correct decision with the DC, at least this way the option looks available. Fwiw I am ok with a complete clean slate as well but you never know with these bafoons.

Yeah we'll beat a couple teams and then that will save Romeos job for another year. And Pioli can leech another year out of Clark's money. "we showed progress in the second half of the season" ......

Crennel removes himself as D-coordinator - NFL - SI.com (http://sportsillustrated.cnn.com/2012/football/nfl/11/05/Romeo-Crennel-removes-himself-as-defensive-coordinator/index.html?xid=si_nfl)

Is all of this Clark's way of saying "Crud! All the coaches and GM's with talent said NO!! Secretary...get the New England Browns crew back in here, NOW!!"

If there is a bright spot in all of this, it's getting Shaun Smith back.

I forgot that Gibbs was our LB coach until today. He has done a great job with the LBs IMO, and if I recall correctly he was a decent DC in New Orleans. Maybe this is an audition for him for next season.

crennel should have taken over the def.corr job full time and give up the head coaching job

Romeo looks more baffled by what's going on during a game than herm did.....I don't see anything improving. Too little too late. And offense is where we are struggling the most.

The genital giant is always good for laughs if nothing else!
