This is easier said than done. Fact of the matter the TV ratings for Chiefs games is still very high. People love the Chiefs win or lose and for many going to arrowhead every weekend is a way of life. Many will keep their tickets just so they don't lose years of seat advancements to finally get the seats they so desire. You are not going to get someone who has owned seats for years to not renew to prove a point to have to start over if there is a change. If a loyal fan gets to that point it is highly unlikely they will change their mind once a change is made.

Now I don't know whose bright idea it was to wear Black because I know Raider fans are using that as ammo to show how stupid Chiefs fans are thay they are now supporting the Raiders.

Why not have everyone wear all White as in waiving the white flag to signal their surrender or something else that really stands out. Like a Bright Green since so many people actually wear black as the weather gets colder.

So many people actually wear black as the weather gets colder.Which helps the cause doesn't it? Not too many People would buy white or bright green clothes in winter (if at all) for a Chiefs game. And winter coats/warmer clothes tend to be black a lot of the time anway.

The problem is that the tickets, and in some cases the parking passes, have already been paid for. Wearing black is the way fans are choosing to show their disapproval without literally throwing all the money right down the toilet.

I've gone to the last two games buying cheap tickets on stub hub and wearing black chiefs gear that I paid for 15 years ago. I don't spend a dime inside the stadium at all. The Chiefs didn't see a dime of my money this year and I still got to have fun, support the players and tailgate with my friends.

I think the purpose was just to wear black, we are talking minimal amounts of chief gear being black. I'd say one in 20 maybe. When Dante hall was here, however, I remember being a lot more. Maybe because he was the X factor had something to do with it.

No it does not help the cause. If you don't think Pioli or Clark looks at the stands and sees Black then say, well that does not reflect the opinion of everyone because there was always a ratio of people wearing black anywhere. So while the stadium may be 50% black, they may only say 25% of that black is in protest.

your missing the point. Is everyone single one of those people there just to protest by wearing black or is it just what they happen to own and are supporting the team. If you don't think Pioli or Clark are looking at the entire crowd and saying wow that is a lot of pissed of people. Because I am betting they are looking at that and saying, yes there are a lot of mad people wearing black but some of those people are Bengals fans supporting their team, some of those people are just wearing what they have. Look at the amount of white in there as well. Heck the Fan assitance people and police wear dark colors too.

Now if this effort chose a color that is not common it would make a bigger statement. If everyone was wearing a Bright Green Shirt that really would only apply to a local high school or maybe college where the chances of it standing out at Arrowhead present a better result of the effort.
