He did a good job with Julio Jones, Roddy White, Tony Gonzalez and Michael Turner. How could he do working with the 1 weapon we have, Jamal Charles?

Don't know how interested I would be to see another coordinator project at HC in KC.

Well he does have HC experience so that's a plus.

Well, admittedly, I know nothing about him. So, what kind of head coaching experience does he have?

I like it. His offenses alway find ways to move the ball. Only thing is , is he a players coach or more the disciplinarian type ?

If he gets it i hope he gets input on who they draft and free agent pickups.

Heck who ever gets it i hope for that , pioli is not good at it.

He inherited pros at all positions , two pro bowl type wrs, hof te gonzo, a first overal pick in matt ryan and a good couple rbs. I dont like hiring a cordinator that hasnt been with the team for long and before that he was oc for the jags, mediocre if you ask me but i hope im wrong

The main difference between Jax & Atl is the Jags never got him an average/above average QB.
Their qb situation was bad as KC's. At least they have a Henne now and still some hope in Gabbert.

I think a coordinator or college coach is the most likely outcome as our next coach. High profile coaches dont typically take over teams with the worst record in football. You can argue that our situation is different, and I would agree, but it doesn't change the fact that we had the worst record in football and don't have a QB.

Not exactly the most attractive place for a coach that has many options.

That's a good point. There would have to be something worth while to attract a coach like that to a team as bad as we were this year.

7 pro bowlers isn't attractive? Many of the coaches out there have to see us as gold. Only a few changes to make plus their expertise and play calling abilities may be very attractive!!!

I say interview everyone you can get in here and see who has the best plan to turn around our team. I doubt we're gonna get a big name coach, and I'm ok with a coordinator becoming our next coach if he can discipline this team, and make good coaching staff hires. Dirk wouldn't be my first pick but I'm not the one hiring and I'm hoping Clark makes the right decision. Also glad Clark seems to be taking a proactive approach to his team.

Hey justin i wouldnt look at this years pro bowlers cuz beside charles, culquit and dj the rest didnt deserve it. I still think there good players though but they didnt play at a pro bowl level. Berry and hali escpeciall didnt deserve it.

They need to shoot higher than this to start off.

And that certain type player would be . . . .?
Do you mean attitudes , skill set or just one in particular ?

Just curious.

Atlanta was smart to get him signed before the end of the season. I'm surprised that Koetter decided to do this rather than get himself a promotion to a HC.

Atlanta was smart doin this Bike. I was starting to really get behind them picking him as the HC.

Someone put a link to his bio on here somewhere , read it and liked it.
Koetter would have been worth taking a chance on inho.

I find it odd that Koetter signed his contract extension the DAY AFTER he interviewed with Clark Hunt.

Maybe he isn't ready and just drove the price for his services when he is ready.
