The Kansas City Chiefs have been patient with Tony Moeaki, but with a brand-new regime in-house, that patience has run out.

The talented but injury-plagued tight end tweeted Saturday that he's no longer with the team:

They can be cut, even if injured. They may have to reach an injury settlement with Moeaki, however. Putting him on IR means they have to pay him more than an injury settlement.

This. They reached an injury settlement, which is basically where they say we will pay you X amount and you will have a chance to get picked up by another team when you are healthy.
