For anyone that hasn't seen The Chiefs have got the #17 pick in the First round sandwiched between Cleveland Browns 2nd first round and Miami Dolphins.

I actually like this spot For ONE REASON most of the meat will still be in the sandwich when they pick in the first to get someone Earth SHATTERING (HOPE THEY DO)

To be Honest im torn between a WR first or OL first but would be happy with either

17 th not to shabby. Would much rather be in the playoffs this year is what it is.we dont have to give up our 2nd rounder this year. And should get some good comp picks hopefully a few in the 3rd to 5 th round range

I'm torn between a RT/OG or a WR. This position is pretty good, though. Later in the first there seems to be a big drop off in WR talent and they don't seem to be as likely to become all-stars as earlier picks (think AJ Jenkins/Jon Baldwin). However, you can get still get all-pro caliber RT/OG later in the first or early second. If there were no FA period, and the draft was tomorrow, it would have to be a cointoss between either OL or WR, with a consideration for CB (after all there are a number of good QBs and WRs in our division).

If I could have my choice of FA first, I would go for a strong LG and/or RT. I'd rather get a WR in the draft since good FA wide receivers don't come cheap in FA, and cap space is going to be tight.

I don't follow college ball much, so I am going to have to spend some time learning about various players to see who I would want. For some reason I feel like this offseason is going to be one of the most important for determining whether this team/front office can really build a championship caliber team. I feel like we are only a few pieces away from contending on the next stage.

I haven't looked at anybody's draft boards, but we have a lot of needs. S, cb, mlb, ol, DT, WR, wr, wr. So I'm sure there will be someone fall in the 1st RS of the draft at one of those positions. We have lots of picks so there will be plenty of opportunities to maneuver as well. I hope we trade away our later round picks for 2016 drafts picks.

I'm just hoping for the best draft class to ever come into KC next year, because it could really go a long ways toward getting back to the post-season and just maybe, finally doing something once they get there.

Given our pick at 17 I would trade back in the first too gain an extra 3rd round(just in case we don't get a comp pick there) I will add both of the extra picks in the 3rd just in case

Round 1: WR Oklahoma Dorial-Green Beckham http://www.cbssports.com/nfl/draft/players/2028286/dorial-green-beckham

Round 2: RT Florida State Tre' Jackson http://www.cbssports.com/nfl/draft/players/1860753/tre-jackson

Round 3: WR USC Nelson Agholor http://www.cbssports.com/nfl/draft/players/1996508/nelson-agholor

Round 3 Pick 2 Compensatory : OG Louisville John Miller http://www.cbssports.com/nfl/draft/players/1851279/john-miller

Round 3 Pick 3: Trade Tyler Kroft (Probably not going to happen but would be nice) TE Rutgers http://www.cbssports.com/nfl/draft/players/1824200/tyler-kroft

Round 4: CB Ohio State Doran Grant http://www.cbssports.com/nfl/draft/players/1871314/doran-grant

Round 5: WR Maryland Stefon Diggs http://www.cbssports.com/nfl/draft/players/2000038/stefon-digs (http://www.cbssports.com/nfl/draft/players/2000038/stefon-diggs)

Round 5 Compensatory: OG Oklahoma Adam Shead http://www.cbssports.com/nfl/draft/players/1737245/adam-shead

Round 5 Compensatory 2: OT South Carolina Corey Robinson http://www.cbssports.com/nfl/draft/players/1737694/corey-robinson

Round 6: DE Stanford Henry Anderson http://www.cbssports.com/nfl/draft/players/1737505/henry-anderson

Round 6 Compensatory: ILB Alabama Trey Depriest http://www.cbssports.com/nfl/draft/players/1824781/trey-depriest

Round 7: OLB Alabama Xzavier Dickson http://www.cbssports.com/nfl/draft/players/1893138/xzavier-dickson

TE I grabbed a TE in the 3rd their so we can let Fasano go, imagine if we had Travis Kelce and Tyler Kroft as TE's on this team those 2 TE sets would scare me to death if I was a Defensive Coordinator.

This draft will take care of our needs at WR and OL

CB The addition of a corner will give us Sean Smith, Phillip Gaines, Daniel Sorenson, Jamell Fleming, Husain Abdullah, Eric Berry and Doran Grant in my opinion it would take this secondary to the next level

OL would be most improved Eric Fisher at LT, RT Tre' Jackson, C Rodney Hudson, LG John Miller and RG Adam Snead with Erik Kush developing at C, Tardiff in the waiting at G and Corey Robinson under Development This could become the OL of old when we had Will Shields and Willie Roaf

WR we could keep a strong core with Dwayne Bowe, Jason Avant and Albert Wilson only gonna get better, The additions of Dorial-Green Beckham, Nelson Agholor and Stefon Diggs at a STEAL in the 5th round since his Lacerated Kidney might scare teams off for us to pounce, This combination can give us a WR corp like which weve never seen before.

DE Henry Anderson Could be a Soild Backup while he develops into a starting role

ILB Trey Depriest and OLB Xzavier Dickson would give us Replacements for Derrick Johnson and Josh Mauga when the sad time arises since we got Dee to replace Tamba we inevitably need to address Derrick and Josh's replacements.

Well that's what I would do, What does Chiefs Nation Think?????

I am good with 17th. Should be able to find a starting Safety, Corner, MLB or guard.

Interesting though Reid said in his end of year press conference and I quote " looking to the draft we should have 11+ draft picks to bring guys in" that would be fabulous

I think 11 picks is the most we are going to get and I wouldn't be shocked if it was 10. I think Reid got a little carried away with that 11+ figure. More than 11 is possible, but I think for it to happen it would be because of some sort of trade. No way I see us getting 5 compensatory picks for the players we lost in Free Agency last year.

Agreed.

How does the loss of Berry figure in with this as well? Any chance we'd get another pick?

I don't think the Berry situation has any impact on the number of picks we get. I *think* we only get additional picks for free agency losses. Besides it is still well within the realm of possibility that he will be able to play next year.
