IThe last few mocks I have seen have had Wayne's falling to us with peters being taken in the 10-13 range. I'm not at all mad, but they also have Gregory falling to the mid 20s. With the uncertainty surrounding Houston what's everyone's thoughts on snagging another passrusher. It's the most important position in the league outside of the QB.

Gregory does fit the same type of profile as Tamba Hali. It all depends on Dorsey/Reid's take on him. Gregory did fail a drug test at the combine, so we'll have to wait and see.

I know dorsey drafts based on talent and not needs. But I say no way it would be a mistake.

I don't think Gregory is big enough to be effective in the NFL so I'd say no

If he failed a drug test at the combine, then I'd be surprised if he is taken before the end of the first unless he is the next coming of JJ Watt.

If the experts are right and guys like Shane Ray will be falling to the 3rd. Then depending on what falls to us at 18 if we can drop back and snag another 3rd round pick, might be beneficial to have. Not sure how well Ray would fit into our scheme but as a one trick pass rushing pony I think we could make it work. Reid has proven to be able to handle players with immaturity issues.

I just read a report that NFL executives and Coaches fear Randy can't handle the mental rigors that go with being in the NFL and has been taken completely off multiple teams boards

Let's say for the moment Gregory falls to the Chiefs second 3rd round selection (the compensatory pick). Think he's worth taking a flyer on at that stage? I say YES. You can't have too many good pass-rushers. Plus, the Chiefs have the right mentors for him.

I'd say absolutely take him. Can u imaging come Sunday we walk away in the first 3 rounds with

Wayne's/peters
DGB/devin smith
BPA
And Gregory.

Haha two top 10 talent players in the draft could be a draft for the ages. One they do a 30 for 30 on if potential is realized. Lol.

Jeez Collins is falling off draft boards now because of him being questioned by police. This draft is insane. With Ray Gregory and Collins all falling of draft boards the whole draft is shaking up.

I think my favorite thing is that every mock seems to have the Chiefs going in a different way. No one knows what we are gunna do and it's so exciting.

We have the flexibility to do whatever we want I think, which is definately a welcome change. We can draft BPA by need which is what everyone does
