This is the part, from that article, that is highly questionable:

Hopefully that means Berry can get back on the field at some point this year and resume what’s been an excellent career to this point.

Berry was diagnosed with Stage IV lymphoma, which means he was very heavily infected and had to undergo very heavy treatment. The thought of him getting back on the field this year, quite honestly, is a bit of a stretch. He'd be better served to take the season off & work towards coming back next year.

I don't want him to rush coming back this year at all. As far as I'm concerned he can take all the time he needs

Exactly right. I'd love to see EB come back at some point this year and be able to play at a high level...but based on what I've seen from friends recovering from cancer it will damned near miraculous if EB is ever able to play again. When it comes to cancer, the "cure" is damned near as bad as the disease. EB is not trying to get well enough to come back to an office job. He's trying to get well enough to come back to a gladiators job. From what I have seen at least that is a very tall order.

That said, I'm REALLY GLAD the Chiefs have stood by EB and not taken any moves to free up cap space at his expense. We've done the right thing so far and that makes me PROUD to be a Chiefs fan. We remain the classiest team in the NFL.

If it was any other team he may have been cut, well done management
