Now way for starters he'll want big money, and the Chiefs like to pass on players with his problems. I would be against it just because he is a woman beater

logic dictates that if hardy can strong arm a witness and play, rice should be afforded the same. not to mention hed best fit kc's need

far as money, he'd be a league minimum with incentives type player

one more thing, of all unemployed running backs, hes the only one who is without a team due to 'non football related' issues.

the others are jobless due to not being a good running back.

Can see this happening...Keep in mind Reid gave Vick a second chance despite going to jail. Rice offers the most talent for what will probably be a cheap contract.

Worth kicking the tires.

No way Rice comes here. Reid has lost this team and bringing in Rice would only pour salt on the wound.

My heart is with you. My head isn't. Desperate times call for desperate measures and while I don't like the scumbag, I'd have no problems giving him a cheap one year contract. Gives Rice a second chance (something I believe in) and maybe given a second chance he would go out and prove he deserved it by having a career year. I'd be OK with that.

There is never a deperate enough time in my book. We can move on with our problems without him just fine. No need to add another problem.
