Because the Chiefs aren't like everyone else. We actually care about our players and don't just throw them aside when they go down with injury. He might come back to a much more shared role but it will be his decision if he doesn't like that role and decides to leave

I agree with him. I love Charles, but he may never return to what he was. If there is a trade value for him, and we can control who he goes to. We should trade him. The moment Charles starts losing a step in his speed he will drop off rapidly. He is already getting near that age despite his injuries.

Yup charles had a great run in kc but the smart move for the future is to move on rbs are very replaceable. And we did play better without him then we did with him. I would rather see us resign dj and Sean smith. With the saved salary cap

He did have a great run. But the team needs to draft someone that is durable and can play injured though not seriously. Time for a change.

I would be upset if they didn't move on

Obviously I am no expert but in general if you have younger, cheaper guys doing the business it's time to move the older guy on. The results seem to show Charles wasn't missed so I would move on if it gives the team more money to negotiate for positions they have more need in.

The question for me is, what kind of shape will he be in when he comes back?
