So maybe we are faced with keeping Sean Smith or Jeff Allen. My choice would be Jeff Allen. We really need O-line.

Both are Gone. Sean Smith is very over rated and not worth the dollars he is asking for.

That sucks. Hopefully grubbs can hve a bounce back season. He sucked before his injury. I think we will go heavy on oline in draft.

I remember it. It also remember Smith getting beat constantly the previous year with bomb after bomb. He would constantly complain he as being held or pushed, when it was him holding. I also remember him getting so lucky many times when the receiver just dropped a ball he should have caught and SS acted like he actually broke it up.

Jeff Allen is solid when he's healthy. Geez...We need some serious work @ O-Line.

Yeah i do remember that. Im not saying he was a shutdown corner but he was consistent and qbs repected him.

Don't really recall him being respected by better QB's that we faced. For a very long stretch there we had very easy schedule.

I'm not sure I agree. Our D without him in the first 4 games was not nearly as good as with him the rest of the season.

Seek, ....but I do agree with your post in another thread about Smith's decline being "on the horizon." I just hope it will come quickly.
