View Full Version : Kawika Mitchell,Worth keeping?

Mitchell`s contract is up this year and the so called expects say he`s worth 5 mill. from the lists i`ve seen its about an average group of middle LB`ers. don`t know if anyone else will free up. i`d offer him 3-4 mill and see what happens. this year tag Allen. he is the one we cannot give up the most. LJ`s contract isnt up till next year. i personally think mitchell is just average. i dont think he is the "killer" type middle linebacker a true play maker to be offered over 5 mill.

I tend to agree with you, Kawika is somewhere in the middle as a LB. We could do better in replacing him we could do worse. A good stong middle linebacker would solve a lot of problems for the Chiefs. The thing is of course is where do we find such a player and could we afford him.

i`ve been hearing rumors edwards might be free. if he is and cheaper than mitchell get him. mitchell cant cover anyone and donnie is faster.

It would be nice to once again see Donnie back in the red, white, and gold.

I don't really have an interest in Edwards. He's getting rather old. I like Mitchell. I have watched him annihilate some O-linemen. I would prefer to keep him here, as to bringing in Donnie Edwards.

You have a good point chief31, age does become a factor, I guess we will have to see what if anything management is going to do.
