Lemon to remain Miami's starting quarterback vs. Buffalo

DAVIE, Fla. -- Cleo Lemon will remain the Dolphins' starting quarterback when Miami plays against Buffalo on Sunday.
Coach Cam Cameron announced the move Monday, ending speculation that rookie John Beck would get his first NFL start for the winless Dolphins.
"We have two guys who don't have a lot of experience," Cameron said. "We're going to need them both."
Trent Green (http://www.nfl.com/players/trentgreen/profile?id=GRE367521) started the first five games, but his season ended Oct. 20 when he went on injured reserve following his second severe concussion in 13 months. The Dolphins have lost their last three games with Lemon as the quarterback.
Beck, the 40th overall pick in the 2007 NFL Draft, was the first quarterback the Dolphins drafted in the first or second round since Dan Marino (27th) in 1983.

I think Cam Cameron is pulling names out of a hat at this time in the season to see who starts. I hope the Fins atleast win one game this year so they won't have a perfect 0-16 season. That would be demoralizing IMO.

They play the team that isn't named twice this year (this week and week 14), and they play the Jets (week 13), and then the Bungels (week 17)so hopefully they can win one of those. It would suck to lose every game.

At least we aren't the only ones, I don't know anything about Lemon but he isn't their QBOTF, Beck is and after losing 8 games and the season is in the crapper and Lemon losing 3 games straight at least one other coach isn't ready to throw the future in. Maybe there is something to what Chief31 says about keeping the youngin holding the clipboard. I have to admit that I am not at the level that I can get a Head Coach job.

Keeps them from losing their confidence and hurting that for seasons to come. No need to scar them.
