Okay on a serious note lets talk for a second here me out....
with the addition of Fuller I say Keep Bailey and Cut Revis.
2 firecracker FA signings that would be awesome that we could afford with the proper cuts would be:
CB Trumaine Johnson
DE Sheldon Richardson
with those 2 additions plus the draft we would have a formidable defense
Now Positions of Need:
DE (EDGE), ILB, OLB, CB, LG, TE and RB
Lorenzo Carter DE Georgia
Duke Elijufor DE Wake Forest
Malik Jefferson ILB Texas
Anthony Everett CB Alabama
Bo Scarborough RB Alabama

We don't even know what the trade was yet Calm down. Veach made some pretty good moves getting Ragland was a steal so far. He's earned a little trust. Lets at least trust him until we know the full details of the trade I think he has earned that much

I just wish we had next year's cap space this year. If my math is correct and I'm reading everything right we should have $80 million+ next offseason
Mitch Holthus keeps mentioning Kyle Fuller, brother to Kendal. Supposedly he may be released and he is keeping his eye on that situation. To me, Mitch Holthus is a PR voice for the Chiefs so I have a feeling the Chiefs are keeping an eye on him.

That actuallly wouldnt shock me if we went after allen or another top wr.
I think reid wanta the offense to be in high gear with mahommes at qb. I think he would rather have a high powered offense with players with experience and habe a defense thats in middle of a rebuild and go with youth. Rather than mediocre O and D. I thino he really wants to surround mahomes with much talent as possible.
I really like Conley as well.

Yea i havent looked into drafties. I usually look at all the ratings and analyst for like the top 100 or top 5 rankins in each position but this year iv only read a few on cb's. Which i hears is deep. And pass rushers are slim. Why we need ford.

When he was drafted he had potential but when he tore his ACL he just dissapeared.

He waa bad before he tore his acl. He was always out of place amd could never break up the pass. His body movement always looked weird to me. He sucked and waa so overhyped.

What did i say? I told you they would go after a taop wr FA. Reid wants to surround mahomes with much talent for him to succeed out the gate. He wants the offense on full power while defense will be young and fast.

LOL. The comment Marcus Peters made about the Chiefs when he left and Mahomes knowing how to throw to him. I have seen Marcus give huge cushions to fast players, only to let them catch the ball under him and then miss the tackle. I suspect we will see a lot of that this year. Just need our offensive line to hold up to give Patrick time to make the long throws.

Cuz he knows the system. And has an arm. With this talent and the offense we will habe people need to stop rootinf for the chiefs to bring chase daniels back as a backup. He doesnt have the arm to qb our offense. Ypu need to have your backup with similar arms. Or else ypu will have to drastically change your offense. Im not saying brays the answer. I like his arm i dont think hes as bad as yall say but im not sure i truat him either. So unless theres someone out there thats similar to mahomes then we prolly are stuck with bray either way. Also with chiefs havung the best skilled positions on offense it woyld be hard bray not to have success. On paper he can play pick your poison in who to throw to.
My question is what wr plays wha. Whos #1.2. And slot. Also kelce at te and hunt as rb.
And as a defense how in the hell do you cover them. Especially if youbhabe the wr interchangeable. How do you play qhen you double cover our #1 when you dont know who the #1 wr is in that certain play. I like conley alot.

Just think how fresh we can keep our wrs during the game. I also like hill in the slot alot as well. I particularly like conley as the #2. But i dont thinkbyou can go wrong in any order you put them. I think we need to upgrade our lg spot to help pass protection.

How about instead of complaining you name some qbs that cpukd fix your issue? Dont say chase daniels either. He doesnt habe the arm to run our offense and we will habe to change it to fit him. So whos out there who is similar to mahomes that we wouldnt habe to drastically change our system? Im all ears. I myself lost some hope in bray and not sure i trust him but id rather have bray than daniels. Also remeber nowadays good backups arent cheap anymore either. Would you rather have an unkowm rookie tham bray? Rookie wouldnt know our offense amd doubt he could help advise mahomes on what he seeafrom sidelines. I dont know all the fa qbs so go ahead and name them and then we can discuss whats better.

I would still take Daniel over Bray. Arm strength is good in all but it's not everything and when you see bonehead plays from a guy it doesn't matter about arm strength. Daniel knows the system he has been in it. He wouldn't really have to learn a whole lot just some things that have been tweaked in the last couple of years.

Reid has always ran a fairly conservative offense this is nothing new. He would probably take less shots downfield with Daniel then Mahomes. But Mahomes won't just be airing the ball out under Andy Reid. It's just not what Reid has done

You don't bring in players like Watkins and have hill on the other side and not plan to air it out. Make no mistake there will be a lot of deep balls thrown this year. Why do you think alyx is in Washington.

Exactly my point. You can tell reid is serious about opening up The offense with bring in watkins. You will have to close it down with daniels. But thank god bears signed daniels.

And daniels makes sense for bears. He knows the offense and can help their young gb to learn it. Only good reason for daniels. But we dont need that. Mahommes learned it laat year and had alex to help him. Daniels wont be in chicago more than one year as well.

I was kinda suprised by this as well. Though i think he will have more success with mahommes if he plays much. I think its special teams.

I am not too worried about this signing anymore. Remember he broke his leg returning a ball he shouldn't have towards the end of the season. His contract is a base minimum one year deal. Basically the Chiefs are giving him a shot to get into camp and get healthy. We an cut him and only lose 90K.

Damn i was really hoping chiefs woukd pair berry amd mathieu together. Our defense now is counting on houston, fuller, ford, jones, berry to have great years amd stay healthy. I think thia draft will be all defense. Maybe a OG as well.

We have just under 13mil in cap space do i think we wont be signing any big names. Maybe 1 or 2 more bargain deals.. we have 14mil in dead cap. I doubt we sign any impact players now. I thinkbthe chiefs will want to carry some into next year to resign hill and jones.

Yea thats why i said this eill be a draft heavy on defense anf mayne a OG.
Im hoping irving improves cuz i beleive he has experience at every spot. I also think we are done with Free agency until after the draft to see of anyone is cut.

Why dont we take a look at luke joeckel or robertson for depth? I think joeckel might be better at guard anf we meed a lg so why not take a chance with him at guard?
Side note. How bad was thatvyear we had the 1st pick? Fishers still a atarter but joeckelnwas #2 and cut and many busts that year. Thats just our luck the uear we jad the 1st pick and it sucked. But id rather have mahommes now rather then change it.
