I'm really disappointed that (most of) the Bears starters won't be playing, today. I understand it. They had an extra week of practice and this is their 4th preseason game because of the Hall of Fame game. They also had an extra 3 days of mini camp because Nagy is a new head coach. But there are a lot of new pieces on the offense and they need to play together in a (simulated) real-game environment. I was expecting the Chiefs to win, anyway, but it would have been a lot harder for me to watch starter-against-starter. Chiefs should roll against 2nd stringers.

That's why they won't play much next week. Normally in the 3rd preseason game they play a series into the 2nd half then hardly play any in the 4th game.

I don't think the risk of injury is a good reason to avoid contact in pre-season. There is always that risk, but how do you get better if you don't practice? The intensity level is much lower in pre-season games so the risk of injury is lower, but if you don't play now, the risk of injury increases in the first regular season game because your conditioning is lower.

Twice the safety mcquay guy stunk. Missed tackle then he disnt hild the edge and and went to fill inside on the td run. He was lost. No reason why he need to run towards niddle. He left a wide open lane.

Yeah im going to call it now. Bob stinken Sutton will not make it the full season as the DC. I give him by week 10 he will be replaced. I want to say week 6 but aReid is stubborn and will stick longer then he should.

Chase is a decent QB and Nagy is very familiar with his strengths and weaknesses. I wonder if Nagy has a bit of an edge having worked with Reid (and most of the other KC coaches) for so long. He knows their coaches better than Reid knows his.

These back-ups are fighting desperately for the final spot on the roster at their positions. Chiefs starters know their spots are "safe" so they don't seem to be as motivated.

It kind of reminds me of the Chiefs back-ups against the Broncos last year, only in reverse.

Good point. Watching on FOX 32 Chicago, Chase Daniels said Nagy game planned as if it was a regular season game with the starters playing. Reid said earlier in the week, they weren't going to game plan, but the routine (schedule) would be as close to regular season as possible. I'm sure that had an effect.

so here is something interesting if they cut Sorenson and Amerson tomorrow they would save 5.6 Million enough to sign both Breeland and Reid, which if they are serious about winning they should think about doing. This Defense could be historically bad this year

Thats not what they called though. They called it for him landing kn the Qb. It's also a new rule this year. I say him leave his feet to but that not what they called and im not even sure that would be considered leaving your feet either since it was a bam bam deal. Its not luke when you see other times where the defender squats then launches leaving his feet to give a hard hit. Kap was just simpky kinda dove or junoed towards him. My point is that his nove didnt not look like it had any bad intent to harm or injure.

P.s. God help us if we loose fuller or nelson for a long period of time. Anderson and scandrick sucks.

Well if there is one bit of hope is that Berry wasnt playing but that im not that optimistic due him not being able to stay healthy and to be honest he had that one good year. Remember before his cancer we were talking about releasing him that he was over rated then he came back from cancer and had a great year but then beem injured since. I think he is good now but he has to prove that he can stay healthy now. Remember last year he had a foot issue then it turned into Achilles tear and now its the other foot haveing issues so will he have a Achilles tear on that kne. Didn't that happen to DJ?

Replacing Bob sutton would have helped as well.

I think we could have gotten a cb instead of breland speaks. We alread have houston,ford, kap. Im not sure if the was a cb still worth the pick at that spot but not sure speaks was worth that pick either.
