Not surprised they got fired, especially Haley. But surprised they felt that getting rid of them now was better than waiting until the end of the season.

This is what I heard as well. Al Saunders would make for an excellent HC or OC though.

Very surprised that they didn't wait until season's end. Generally a team doesn't respect an interim coach.

+1. And if they're going to interview him, I'd prefer it be done after the last Chiefs game (including postseason). Too many times our coaches get interviewed before a playoff game and then we turn around and lose. It is an unnecessary distraction.
