Terez Paylor reports there is a good chance the Chiefs will sign Free Agent RB Carlos Hyde Tomorrow when he visits pending a physical.

Update: Chiefs have signed - Carlos Hyde to a 1 year deal worth 2.8 million dollars.

You kind of get a sense from this that the Chiefs are looking for defense, defense, and more defense in the upcoming draft, although a 2nd TE is also a possibility.

Agreed. Think are trying to do two things on defense - 1) Trying really hard to throw a curveball to the other teams by giving them that looks completely different than the previous D and 2) Trying really hard to get cheaper on D, to be able to afford our offense and other player's contract obligations.
