Both the Chiefs and Jones are playing hard ball it would seem. Jones wants Guaranteed money and the Chiefs are afraid of the usual stuff motivation, Injury etc.

Rumors out there is that Jones is looking for a similar contract to Aaron Donald. Aaron Donald just held out for a 6 year contract for 135 Million with 87 of that guaranteed.

I don't see Mr. Jones getting that type of money any time soon. Maybe after they franchise him the following year.

Chris Jones is not Aaron Donald lets just put that out there right now, he is not as good as Donald imo, its close but Donald is better by a few yards

On Friday, the radio guys say there is some talks now that Chiefs are throwing out that he is available for trade discussions.

Yeah I wouldn't be surprised you cant pay Donald money plus, the $105 million just gave to Frank Clark and then Mahomes $200 million deal in a couple years, at a certain point it becomes unafordable

Radio guys on 610 say the Chiefs are about 25 mil different apart from what Jones is asking.
