At 1st I was hesitant but more I think about it the more I would. He's better against the run than anyone one we have besides Nadi and better pash rusher than anyone besides Jones. So hes better against the run but a tick below on pass rush compared to Jones. I think Williams will be much easier amd cheaper to RESIGN then Jones.

It would depend what we would have to give up since his contract would end this year. Say we give a 3rd for him. At the end of the year we RESIGN William's or jones and then franchise tag the other and trade him for picks. So we get our pick back plus more. Bot sure if it could help gain any compensation picks either if we were to lose him.

^^ A 3rd rounder -- like you are suggesting -- would be OK by me.

Our defense would be instantly upgraded for sure. Clark, jones, williams, ogbah.

Heck I would have it Clark, Williams, Nadi, Jones. And rotate Jones at end and dt. Keep the offense off balance.

Passing downs clark, William's, jones, kpass

Heck I guess William's played De also for the jets. So maybe keep Jones inside and rotate William's. Or roster them all around

We would probably only have him for this season only. We still have some mouths to feed and he is asking for his portion too.

If we were to get him, I'd pair him on the inside with Chris Jones. Most of the clips I've seen of him, opposing teams double team him, but usually they can afford to because the Jet's outside pass rush is really weak. Other teams might have to re-think that with a 4-3 lineup and being next to Jones.

Yeah I figured chiefs would try to resign either jones or William's prolly the cheaper on which I think Jones will demand more money. But the one we dont RESIGN we franchise tag and trade him and get draft picks back plus more. Heck even if we got the same what we gave up would be worth it.

Yes and I like the depth where we can keep them all fresh.

If the traded for Leonard Williams he will require a 1st or 2nd round pick maybe more to trade for, not only that we only have 5 picks in next years draft, and if we traded for Williams I'm hearing that would almost certainly signal the end of Chris Jones in KC

You was just proven wrong. Giants gave up a 2020 3rd and a 2021 5th. Jets agreed to pay 4mil out of the 6 mil hes owed so giants only pay 2 mil. Also 5th round turns to a 4th if giants RESIGN him. That's a pretty good damn deal. Chiefs whiffed out once again.

Everything I've heard the Chiefs wont be major players at the deadline. So don't expect any moves at all.

My no he hasn't. You might want to check. It was just reported lions might be open to traded him yesterday but no guarantee that they will.

What if we trade Eric fisher and LDT to Redskins for t trent Williams.

Ldt contract is but loaded coming up and having a down year.

We would have a top 5 lt and get rid of a over priced rig or a bad structured contract.

Maybe redskins have a good linebacker to throw in. Lol
