Ok so snow is cold. The snow wasn't to horrible most the time but my feet will be Frozen until August at least.

I sat right behind the O line and Travis Kelce was right infront of me. There was a woman who had a sign requesting a kiss from him and he found it funny and blew her a kiss. NICE GUY LOL

I was in a postion to do what I have done so many times before hand I told Andy Reid to RUN THE BALL. He said "Yes Sir" with a smile. It was amazing being so close to the players.

One thing I saw today that I don't think people see from the TV is just how competitive Patrick Mahomes is. He would come off the field PISSED if they had to settle for 3.

The Refs were not horrible today but there was a couple of just BS calls. The big play that Kelce made that got called back on a "Illegal block in the back" Was just BS. What they called was right infront of me. You know a ref know he's wrong when they won't even look at the replay and despite Andy's best efforts that ref wouldn't look at it. Andy was less then thrilled about it.

Watching the game from that close gives you a better feel for what happens on the sideline. There were some very funny moment. There was a moment when we had the int that got called back I watch Kelce start getting his helmet on then slowly take it off and sit down only to have to jump up again when we got the pick on the play a couple of plays letter The look on his face was funny as hell. \

I said this last year after the Ravens game I will say it again now. MAN Patrick Mahomes is a special treat to watch in person. He is so gifted. If you have never been to Arrowhead you need to go watch the man do what he does. It's worth the price of admission. DO THIS FOR YOURSELF I don't think that you will regret it.

OH AND HOW ABOUT THAT DEFENSE. Hopefully the crowd came across as loud on TV as they were in person I don't have much of a voice left It was an AMAZING time and a GREAT WIN

On to next week maybe by then I will be warm again GO CHIEFS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Sounds like you had a good time at Arrowhead. Yes could hear the crowd (the time they went for it on 4th down especially) and do think it made a difference early on when they got flagged for being offsides. It's harder to notice the cold when they win.

Be honest with us, m/c - How many times did security have to yank Reid's clipboard back and throw you back in the stands? j/k

Overall though it was a good team win. Despite the conditions, the offense pretty much dominated the Broncos. My only complaint was that we started using Ware a series or two late. I like Thompson but it was a game where we needed to just punch the ball at them with a bigger back. Was surprised they didn't use McCoy more than they did. Thought the offense did a good job of controlling the ball, too - conditions like these usually make for a fumble-fest.

Mahomes throwing looked way better this game. The huge TD pass to Hill and the big tosses to Kelce proved he was back in form.

The defense did well but we did get some guys dinged up today. Thornhill and Mathieu both did really well. Clark had a decent game and Pennel was a factor early. Didn't realize it until they mentioned it, but Lock is the seventh QB for the Broncos since Manning was there.

Funny you mention his clipboard. People seem to think there's a lot on it but I got a good look today and really all it says it "I HATE THAT MATTHEWSCHIEFS GUY" It was kind of hurtful but I'll manage to get by

Even with the win during the breaks my feet being ice were all I could think about.

Kelce was a MONSTER out there. Denver had no answer for him all day.

I was a little worried about Mahomes in the weather but like I said in the OP the man is good at his job. He gets the job done. I did think on one of the sacks he should have gotten rid of the ball was yelling throw it away. But overall he was a treat to watch. Again any Chiefs fan owes it to themselves to go watch the man play. It is amazing to see and TV doesn't do it justice. If you need proof go watch the 2 point conversion play Just WOW WOW WOW

So you DID try to grab the clipboard!! Doesn't sound right, though. Sometimes you really have to reid into things. Are you sure it didn't say "I ate the pastrami on rye"??

Glad you had fun in KC. I'm looking forward to the next two games. Sucks Okafor got hurt but the put in for Terrell Suggs hopefully we get him.

Of the 3 coaches we have had since I have been on this forum I have been the nicest to Andy Reid. People who think I hate Andy Reid either were not here or have forgotten the tirades I would go on about Romeo and Haley. :)

OK OK you caught me. The truth is going to come out sometime might as well get this over with

I didn't make it to kickoff. I was escorted out of Arrowhead after running on the field yelling about Reid being passhappy I must say I thought that Andy ordering Patrick to throw a pass at my face was uncalled for. But I guess I will live

We did get Suggs who has said he will report to the Chiefs :)

Well, okay, we'll buy that much. Typical. Geesh couldn't you have shown up on a game day like everyone else?

That's true. You're mean to everybody. Especially, me. But I can take it and I'm pretty sure Andy can, too.

Sorry that I didn't chime in earlier, but I had been on holiday for a month and away from my computer. NINE straight victories over the Donks. That win that the Donks got over Houston was a FLUKE. The Texans just did not show up.

Welcome to the Abyss, Mr. Turd Elway and the Donkeys, because you're going to be staying there for quite some. Bank on it.

LMAO It doesn't quite make up for the '97 playoff fiasco, but it's a nice start.

Agreed. None of the '97, '98, and 2015 can be made up for, but if the Donks stay in the abyss for the next century & the Chiefs can win some SB titles (in legit fashion & on a level playing field), then we can quit having listen people sing praises to Turd Elway.

Good to see you back Demps

I think we share a major hatred of the Denver Donkeys That's why I chose to go to this game had to see this matchup once in person and why I paid good money for some damn good seats.

I was sad to have lost most my pics from the weekend my phone crapped out on me. But I did manage to get one uploaded.

Nice pic, Matt.

That snow doesn't look so bad when you see the way that Mahomes is able to cope with it and perform excellently (something Turd Elway couldn't do).

People are comparing Mahomes to Elway. I call BS on that. It's Joe Montana that Mahomes resembles more & looks nothing like Elway -- and that's a lot better.

I was amazed how little the weather affected mahomes. I can only think of one throw that it looked like it had an effect on

I've noticed how the Donkeys camp has gone dead silent & some are calling for Elway's ouster. They're finding out that the Donkey's can't do anything when they are forced to play on the same level playing as all the other 31 teams (which they didn't in '97, '98, 2013, and 2015). I told them when Peyton Manning retired that the fall was going to be hard & the thud was going to be loud (same as when Elway retired & the Donks were forced back on to the level playing field). They had their 4 legit chances to win the SB in '77, '86, '87, and '89 and failed each time. They were never going to make it back to any more SB's without help from the league office.

This years sweep of the Donks was gratifying due to the fact that the KC Defense turned in stellar performances in both contests, holding the Donks to 6 points and 3 points, respectively. The biggest improvement I've seen is the Chiefs Safety play & both Honey Badger and Thornhill have greatly improved those positions & are the best pair that KC has had since Lloyd Burruss and Deron Cherry. There's no hype or hero-worship needed where Mathieu and Thornhill are concerned, as the results are clearly showing themselves on the football field week in and week out -- especially over the last month.
