Johnson (foot) said Thursday he believes he will play again before the end of the season, the Kansas City Star (http://www.kansascity.com/sports/story/363501.html) reports.
Recommendation:
A shroud of secrecy still surrounds Johnson's injury. The Chiefs will only refer to it as a mid-foot sprain, but Johnson has reportedly told teammates that he has a cracked bone in his foot. He is making significant progress, however. “A lot of people don’t realize that my foot was swollen bad and I was on crutches for maybe two or three days,” said Johnson. “This is only the (second) week and I’m able to walk fine without using a boot." His vow to play again this year and his ability to walk without a limp are both good signs that Johnson might be back in action around fantasy playoff time.
