he was the I thinkb20th overall pick 3 years ago by the giants. not sure if he played under spags or not. Panthers cut him cuz of his play. my only question being a 10th over all pick he has to have some skills. so I'm wondering if he might be better suited to a certain system then others. I dont know if giants, Orleans or panthers have similar style of defense but if not would it be good to see if Eli could work our in a spags defensive system? again even if its for 1 year we woukd get a
another compensation pick at the end of the year if he didn't work out and or resigned.

Unless he is clearly an upgrade I would say no.

There's probably a reason that he was cut

I agree with that. There is always a reason for A top 10 pick being Cut from his 3rd team 7 weeks into the Season. Logan Ryan would be better. But Sadly we might as well accept it Veach is happy with who we have is the secondary, or he would've brought someone is already. I would be surprised if KC made a move at the trade deadline on Thursday. So I wouldn't hold my breath if I was you guys. I can't find very much worth upgrading.

Yes I don't see us making much of a move either. I think that we already made our move in bringing Bell in

I would like to sign him up just to gain a compensatory pick but I dont know who we would cut to make room. I dont know much about him besides he was a top 10 pick. I do remember his name but dont know anything about him. I just want to gain picks but dont think we can afford a spot on the team to give up.

The comp pick is tempting, and I would guess the guy that would get cut would be Hamilton, but seeing as how the D seems to have pretty good chemistry going, guess the question is would Spags be willing to make changes at CB right now?

Our needs right now are at the lines, we are particularly thin on the D side. Hopefully we'll get some guys back soon.

The only needs you could really make a case for right now and it would be stretching it would be The offensive and Defensive lines for Quality backups. But would you really wanna give up draft picks for backups? I wouldn't. CB is not a need. It's more of a wish at this point.

These are Eli Apple's 5 Year Stats to this day.
