The Chiefs paid a high price to obtain left tackle Orlando Brown Jr. The Ravens get first-, third-, and fourth-round picks this year and a 2022 fifth-rounder from the Chiefs, while Baltimore sent its 2021 second-round pick and a 2022 sixth-rounder to Kansas City. Wow. OBJr had a really good record covering the LT spot in Baltimore, but we really traded away this year's draft to get him. Veach must have really been weighing what was available in the draft at our position vs. what the team needs were. Think Veach will do well in the second round but it's like we cut off the back half of our draft.

we traded away a first round pick for a proven Lt who went to the pro bowl. we could have draft another Lt who never pans out. Plus we get their 2nd sense can still get some good players with 2 and rounders

What we traded away and what we got back is essentially a push for a pro bowl LT. The only spot on the line I could see as a weakness now is Center. But it's not needed or a priority. IMO the team needs based on what we have left to do is.

1. Edge Rusher

2. Wide Receiver

3. Cornerback

4. Linebacker

5. Center

Cornerback no longer becomes as big a need if/when we resign Beshaud Breeland. If that happens I would move 4. and 5. Up 1.
