This jerk had the nerve to cheer every time the Titans scored...

So I flicked my cigarette at him every time!

The Titans fans behind us were slightly more respectful of Arrowhead.

Good job!
Did you notice a few other Titan fans in the stadium? My guess would be a handful here and there but miniscule.
Once at a Phillies game against the Montreal Expos an Expo fan sat near me and as far as I could see, was the only Expo fan in the whole place. Quite a contrast when the Mets are here and make the Phillies seem like they are the visiting team!

Wow... seriously? You flicked a cigarrette at someone for cheering for their team? Not sure how strong of language I can use here, but you're an ***.

I'm all about verbal taunting, rubbing it in, and making sure they hear you cheering when your team shows their team up, but taking it to that level is kind of childish, no?

The only Chief game I've been to so far was in Giant stadium, and I've been to Jacksonville stadium a lot cheering against them and, aside from the ribbing and taunting, no one was childish enough to throw things at me and be that 'cool'.

I had hoped fans of my team had a little bit more integrity then that...

I've seen several games at Qwest field, then Seahawks stadium with all my gear on. Most of those fans were cool but there were a few that were throwing stuff at us. I think they have cameras all over that place because each and every one of them were escorted out. I can understand if you want to give someone sh!t cause they won't shut up. I can also understand that someone paid for a seat and they're trying to enjoy the game.

They weren't just cheering for their team, they were taunting the fans around them, so in my opinion he was asking for it.

Taunting although annoying is not classless and inappropriate. The cigarette flick was wrong.

Taunting the home team fans when they are nearing the end of a 9 game losing streak is classless and inappropriate.

There were several other Titans fans that were showing at least a little sympathy and respect for the Chiefs fans in the stands.

Those guys were wrong.

If you truly think that a verbal barrage no matter how rude is the same as a physical attack (throwing/flicking items) at someone is even similar you are really missing something in your chain of logic.

I hardly think that flicking a cigarette at someone is a physical attack.

If I ever get the chance to go to an away game for the Chiefs I can guarantee you that I will show the fans there respect.

It's not like I held the cigarette on his jacket and burned holes in it. He didn't even get his jacket burned a little bit.

The only thing you see on him is a little bit of ash that I'm sure he wiped off afterwards.

If you look at the photo of the Titans fans that were sitting behind us (being respectful, I might add), those guys were on my side. They said they were embarrassed by the things the guys in front of us were saying, and they had no problem with my actions.

I didn't suggest that you were throwing items that would hurt him, merely that you moved the dispute to the physical realm instead of just the verbal one. Alas if you hawked a lugee at him you wouldn't have hurt him, but it would have been an escalation of the tensions. Thus my point is what you did was an escalation from the verbal taunting that he delivered. If you can't handle the verbal taunting from others why don't you buy some ear muffs to match your skirt and you can tune them out that way...

Are you an *** when you go to other stadiums?

Do you taunt the fans who are living a nightmare?

Yes....if people are being an *** to me. If someone gets on my case (Fubbalo, Cleveland) then I get on theirs and it usually ends up with someone gettting punched. Since I do not like to get punched I try to be the guy doing the punching. If fans around me are respectful then I am respectful and no one gets punched.

When guys the size of Canada and I get in a fight, there usually isn't a need for a lot of punching. One punch that connects and the other guy is usually done. Therefore if we punch first then the other guy doesn't get a chance to piss us off making us punch him even harder in anger. So in reality we're doing him a favor by ending the whole thing quickly.

Have you ever seen heavyweights fight in the UFC?

There's usually a lot more than one punch being thrown!

We aren't talking about professional fighters. Big guys can usually get along just fine in the bar/event. Its the short little Napolean-complexed runt like you that wants to pick a fight with the biggest guy in the room that causes the problem. What I'm saying is when we reach back and drop the lumber on your spry little frame you tend not to come back wanting more (even if you would be so able)...therefore my argument stands.

That's what I would tell my kids when they played little league baseball: "If your gonna go down, then go down swingin; don't go down lookin!" Every time they struck out lookin, trying to get on base cheap, I'd tell them that: "Next time I'd have the coach send them out to the plate without a bat; 'cause there's no sense in holding a bat if you're not gonna use it!"
