Adrian Peterson won offensive rookie of the year from the NFL, this is the overall rookie of the year. With the type of year that the Chiefs had I dont think a lot of fans are into it enough to have him win it.

Also he should have won it hands down but Hermie wouldn't let them throw to him, he is all about Wilson and Webb. Sad but the one chance at ROY and Hermie decided he didnt want it and took it from him.

We should blame everything on Herm. The grass was too long last week HERM. Remeber that game when it rained HERM. My shoes are too tight HERM. I think it is ridiculous that everything that goes wrong is Herms fault. Are you seriously saying that Peterson shouldn't be ROY?? If there were no AP in the league this year then i might agree with you but to blame Herm for DBowe not winning it?? Silliest thing I ever heard.

The reason Bowe lost was because he was on a piss poor 4-12 football team. You gotta make the highlight reels to get noticed in this league and the Chiefs weren't talked about much, except in the first half of the season.

No. The reason Bowe didn't get it was because Peterson was FAAAAR better than any rookie!!!!!!

I'm worried about DBo's hands in cold weather.

He was dropping more than half the balls thrown to him late in the year!

Heh, I've been using this line at work the past couple of days. But some people reply, "So are the Eagles!"

I also used Canada's other line that The Chiefs are going to find a way somehow to win the next Super Bowl! And Chiefster's funny one about the Chiefs are going to the Super Bowl...if they can get the tickets!

You guys give me great material to use, thanks!

Agreed Peterson is ROY, but I think Herm could have helped make it closer. I think that if used better DBO could have had a better showing, also if Hermie wasn't coach I still think we would have had a much better team. Although all things considered Adrian Peterson was just a monster this year, hard for anyone to compete with. But somehow Willis from the niners is giving him a run for his money.

Before AND after his injury!

I'm wondering if Brodie is throwing too hard, or if DBo can't catch in the cold.

It looks to me like Brodie is throwing semi accurately, but too hard.

Is this a case of an Elway arm, combined with a slightly better scrambling ability of Kosar?

Millions of voters can't be wrong!

I still wish DBo would have caught all those passes that came his way (the 3 games before the final 3 games, if that makes sense), then we would have won more games and he would have won Rookie of the Year.

And we might have done better.

I still don't hear who the hell we are gonna get first round.

Didn't George Bush get elected twice??

No he was only elected once in 2004 and that was more than likely because of issues with Diebolds voting machines in Ohio and Florida.

In a GOP fund-raising letter for George W. Bush, Walden O'Dell wrote "I am committed to helping Ohio deliver its electoral votes to the president next year." Walden O'Dell at the time was CEO and Chairman of Diebold corporation who’s un-audited machines count over 40% of the vote across the United States. (Reported in many sources such as CBS (http://www.cbsnews.com/stories/2004/10/22/politics/main650884.shtml)). December 2005, O'Dell resigned following reports that the company was facing securities fraud litigation surrounding charges of insider trading.

In 2000 he actually lost the election but the Supreme Court decided they wanted him as president.

HH,

Dude, the numbers were in dispute for months, but the final tally that came out of all the recounts (after the Supreme Court decision) still put Bush in front by 1,000 votes in Florida.

He DID lose the popular vote then, but he won the Electoral Vote which has always been the deciding factor per the Consitition.

Here is a line from Temple University's website that shows final vote totals by state.

When a vote is that close and your brother is the governor of the state that decides the election, you don't think there was voting fraud?

There were so many minority voters that waited and never even got to vote because of how the voting sites were designated.

You ignored my quote about the President of Diebold who gave the election to Bush in 2004 also.

The system is being abused by ruthless, power hungry tyrants.

I am pissed off about this issue to this day, man, sorry to take it out on you.

It happens on both sides my friend. The controlling party of most states is able to make the rules in favor of their consituency. I agree the system is corrupt, but I'll take it over the systems of most other countries. Remember human nature as a whole is corrupt. That's why jacka$$e$ like Tim cheat the system and insist on returning where they aren't wanted, needed or even accepted.
