Colquitt signs 5 year deal

The KC Star is reporting that the Chiefs have agreed to terms on a five-year contract with punter Dustin Colquitt.

Colquitt would have become a restricted free agent tomorrow.

Locking up Colquitt for the long term was one of the Chiefs’ priorities before the start of free agency. He was the Chiefs’ third-round draft pick in 2005.
