Board Rules

As Administrators and Moderators we try to take a very liberal, less is more, approach when it comes to moderating the boards and allowing everyone the freedom of expression when stating their views and opinions. However, with regards to forum decorum a few rules do apply:

1. Personal attacks on another member will not be tolerated. We all have different opinions, and while we may or may not personally respect everyone’s opinion, we should all respect one anothers right to have an opinion without: hate speech, personal attacks, racism, disparaging remarks about others' sexuality, insulting posts, purposeless inflammatory posts, or other actions that degrade the site experience for other users. Please treat other people with respect, including the mods and administrators of this site.
1st offense: A warning infraction
2nd offense: A full warning
3rd offense: Further discipline will be reviewed by management

2. Use of the "F" bomb and "GD" (whether typed or included in a video) on this and every forum is strictly taboo. Mild profanity, in moderation, is excused. There are filters in place to automatically edit some of the more profane curse words, however, understand that it is possible that some will slip through. In such cases the issue will be dealt with upon discovering the infraction and the offender will be fairly warned before disciplinary action is taken. This includes any general misspellings and the use of certain characters to circumvent the filter.
1st offense: A warning infraction
2nd offense: A full warning
3rd offense: Further discipline will be reviewed by management

3. Use of this bulletin board community for purposes of promoting pornography or spam in any form is strictly prohibited, and the offender will obtain immediate disciplinary action, which will include a permanent ban.
1st offense: Permanent ban

3.5. Do not post links to sexual content or pornography. Keep it PG-13.
1st offense: a full warning
2nd offense: perma-ban

4. At the "Crowd" you have the option to post your own individual avatars and signatures. In both cases they must not be in any way inappropriate or obscene; members with such avatars or sigs will be fairly warned before they loose their privileges to have them, unless they are in direct violation of rule #3, in which case the consequences of that particular rule apply. Signatures will need to be no more then 600 pix wide and 200 pix high; this is to ensure ample space to express individuality while preserving screen real-estate. Custom avatars can be no larger then 80 by 80 pixels or 19.5 KB.
1st offense: A warning infraction
2nd offense: A full warning
3rd offense: Further discipline will be reviewed by management

5. Creating another thread to discuss or ask why another thread was locked, deleted, or moved is not allowed. The additional threads will be locked or deleted as well. Do not create threads asking why other users were warned or banned. That information is private between the administration of the site and the user who was warned/banned.
1st offense: A warning infraction
2nd offense: A full warning
3rd offense: Further discipline will be reviewed by management

6. No Posting "real life" information of any member, including pictures, without their permission. This includes images and info taken from the member's MySpace, Facebook, or blog page. Do not post the content of Private Messages from other users without the user's permission.
1st offense: A warning infraction
2nd offense: A full warning
3rd offense: Further discipline will be reviewed by management

7. Do not create duplicate accounts.
1st offense: Permanent ban

8. Do not create threads to complain about the actions of another user. If you have a problem with another user, please report it as stated below. Please note that just because something is not listed here, does not mean it will not be eligible for moderation. We are attempting to maintain a clean and fun environment for all users. Attempting to find loopholes in the rules to "get away" with things does not help promote that sort of environment. The Administrator and Moderators reserves the right to take any and all disciplinary action; including a permanent ban for first offence as deemed necessary at their sole discretion, and make any changes for any reason at any time. Members can help police the board by utilizing the "Report Post" link located at the upper right hand corner of each posted thread and following replies.
(Note: just because a report has been made regarding another member does not guarantee action to the complete satisfaction of the reporter.)
1st offense: A warning infraction
2nd offense: A full warning
3rd offense: Further discipline will be reviewed by management

Infractions will clear after 30 days and warnings will clear after 60 days provided no further infractions or warnings have occurred. Any form of ban will become a permanent part of a members record. Repeated bans can result in a permanent ban if the board leadership deems it is in the best interest of the community. Additionally, rules are subject to change with or without notification. It is the responsibility of each member to periodically check the rules for changes.
