Seriously dude, were you the a$$hole that gave me my last tetanus shot??? Cuz mother trucker cut all the oxygen in the room or something, next thing I know I'm laying on some bed getting 4 stiches in my head...but at least I didn't have to worry about a tetanus booster after I hit that metal table...

They are not so bad. It's all in your head. I used to be terrified of them until I became a paramedic. Now I couldn;t care less about them. Although I am usually giving them instead of getting them!! :)

The guy that gave you the shot is a dumba$$. At least have some ammonia inhalant handy.

I don't have any problems with needles, but something similar to that happened to me after my son was born.

The birth didn't bother me at all, but when the placenta came out everything sort of went dark and then some lady was standing over me saying "Are you OK Chris?"

Never gonna do that again!

I just don't get the fear of needles.

I guess if a spider tried to give me a shot, I would probably freak out though!

Yeah I'm much more accustomed to giving the shots than getting them as my son is diabetic.

I can't find it now. My wife got an update from Medscape initially that said one of the first batches distributed in 07 wasn't working. I don't really want to look for it. So don't ask me to. :D

I don't even bother with flu shots, all that happens is I get the flu either way.

The point is to get the flu shot, stay healthy and not clog up Emergency Rooms all winter.

It never works for me though.

As soon as I get the flu shot, I get the flu.

I don't go to the doctor either.

Those guys just tell me to quit drinking.

Hmmm, never had a flu shot personally, however I also haven't missed a day of work for sickness in over 10 years. Guess if you don't live in the frozen tundra, and you aren't a short scrawny turd, you can stay healthy anyhow!!!
