Kansas City Chiefs
The Chiefs are taking job applications all over the field, but they are young and deep on the defensive line. Dorsey isn't likely to figure prominently in their draft plans. As good as Ellis is, like Dorsey, he just doesn't fill an immediate need in Kansas City, a team with many other immediate problems to address. Even if they may not want to pass on Gholston, prudence suggests the Chiefs will forego him due to other priorities. It's hard to envision Long falling this far, but he probably won't land here. Jared Allen and Tamba Hali are one of the most dynamic young pass-rushing tandems in the league. Once the linchpin of Kansas City's team, the O-line has fallen on hard times with the retirements of perennial all-pros Willie Roaf and Will Shields. Larry Johnson would certainly love to have a new plow horse. Larry Johnson, coming off an injury-plagued campaign, will be 29 soon. But the Chiefs can't afford to stash McFadden on their roster the way they held on to Johnson when Priest Holmes was still running wild. Are the Chiefs truly confident Brodie Croyle is the man to guide them back to the playoffs and beyond? If they select Ryan, that question will be clearly answered.

I don't think craps pays out nearly as much as the first round does. The first round does have a couple busts in it's history, but it's hardly the norm. You could probably get a starter for 10-15 years 95 times out of 100.

You'll probably get a starter from the 2nd round more times than not as well. I'm glad we're getting at least two more picks in those two rounds. Hopefully, well get another if we can trade out of the 5 spot. I hear Philly wants to trade up to even possibly #1.

It just seems like every time Carl lets one of our star players get away it usually comes back to but us in the butt, but I hope things turn out as well as you predict.

Randy: There's been a little problem in the ****pit, and I was . . .

Striker: The ****pit--what is it?

Randy: It's the little room in the front of the plane where the pilots sit, but that's not important right now.

Dr. Rumack: What was it we had for dinner tonight?

Elaine Dickinson: Well, we had a choice: steak or fish.

Dr. Rumack: Yes, yes, I remember, I had lasagna.
