JA: 8 tackles, 5 solo, 2.0 sacks, and 1 pass defensed.

Of course, IMO, tackling stats are garbage other than the sack count.

When you are on a team like the Vikings with 2 studs at DT, the DE and OLB should have very big tackle numbers if they are doing their job. On most teams you wouldn't care if the DE didn't have many tackles, but with that defense the DE should be picking up at least 3-5 tackles per game, and often closer to 7 or 8.

Not exactly what I meant. Maybe he should pick up 7 or 8 tackles a game but it's the official keeping count of tackles thing I have an issue with. Keeping that stat straight is a problem.

I understand what you are saying. I also don't know why the give assists.

I don't know if Jared having only tackles is good or back. Usually if you are getting a lot of tackles, teams are running at you for a reason.
