I'm not sure where tornadospotter is right now, but we are under a Tornado Watch here in Jackson County right now, but right over the State Line Johnson and Wyandotte Counties are in A TORNADO WATCH!!!!

I REPEAT A TORNADO WATCH IS IN EFFECT FOR JOHNSON AND WYANDOTTE COUNTIES!!!!!

An actual tornado has been spotted in Dekalb County north of me, it has not touched down yet though reports NCB action news!

i was suprised when it started raining hail over here and then the winds were major around 2 am....

as for myself in wyandotte county, all we got are a couple of broken tree limbs, power lines..... nothing major

i remember when we saw a tornado on the highway and seriously it was one of the scariest moments of my life. we had to hide underneath a overpass on the highway, it was scary.:drunkhb:

These were some big *** trees girl!

These pictures are all after the workers have gotten them off the buildings, roads, and cars.

It was much worse than these pictures show.

We lost a lot of chimneys too, from the looks of it, about half of them got blown off.

I live right on the border of Independence and Sugar Creek, boy it was SCARY! Luckily, I have a knack for staying up pretty late at night, so I was wasn't caught off-guard by it, like some people, but just to describe what it was like......

The winds came through, and it was like listening to a train on steroids come bulldozing right into your house. I'm honestly shocked that my house didn't take any damage. I've lived here for 22 years, and have never seen this kind of storm. Also, apparently I was VERY close to a tornado touchdown, all I have to say is I got lucky.

My prayers to everyone who had to endure this, and I hope everyone is safe! For a little optimism, at least Arrowhead was spared!

I just wanted to get some footage because the vents and chimneys were just flying all over the place!

Apparently I was safer than Stephanie though, because she was hiding in the closet and the ceiling of the closet got sucked right down onto her head.
