I had one of these in my backyard last night. My dog went beserk trying to kill it. I remembered the old days, just whack em in the head once with a broom handle and then throw them over in the neighbor's backyard.

They smell really bad when you burn them.

My cousin had a dead one under his house so we scooped it up and threw it in the bonfire (we are too lazy to dig a hole).

Rotten, burning "cats" smell really, really, really, really nasty...

Recipe for eating 'possum:
large square of aluminum foil. Add potatoes, carrots, onions, and of course 'possum meat. Garnish with parsley. roll this all up in the foil and place on fire(this will cut down on the smell,H2!ha!)after about 2 hours remove from fire. remove veggies and meat from the foil, throw the veggies and meat in the garbage and eat the foil! enjoy!
