I'd like to see us go after this guy. Boone is not the answer at DE and no one can say they've seen enough of Turk to say he's a starter.

The Vikings waived James after he failed to pass a physical and now have hardly anything to show for a 2005 draft...

Hmmmmmm; sounds risky to me.

DE Brian Johnston (http://kan.scout.com/a.z?s=115&p=8&c=1&nid=3557491) - Some NFL draft boards had him rated as a fifth-round guy, and after watching him today and talking with Cunningham, Johnston is a keeper and a steal in the seventh round. He looks like Jared Allen (http://kan.scout.com/a.z?s=115&p=8&c=1&nid=3716719), not just in his build, but his three-point stance is similar. How every NFL team passed on him in the late rounds is mind-boggling. He has the goods this year to start for the Chiefs. this was from Yzilla's post on the OTA's. maybe we do not need him?

Kinda what I'm thinking.
