Brodie is looking very, very good ! And if he goes down this year we are in serious trouble, because Thigpen and Huard did not look good at all. Just my take after what I saw. Thigpen had a few moments and Huard really looked slow and his p***es were floaters. Croyle has a cannon for sure. Thigpen is a couple of years ( maybe one ) away from being ready to be a starter . I asked Xfactor ( the chiefs superfan ) and he said the same thing. He has spent about a week or more of two-a-days watching them. I really cant wait to watch how this all works out in preseason now that there is no competition for starter at QB.

Coach, can we fix the filter so P A S S E S is not filtered like that?

Thanks for the observations Y. Interesting indeed.

Brodie is a beanpole. He really needs to be traded to a dome team where a gust of wind won't take him out. Brett sure sounds good for this young team....

Yeah, this was a problem before; I think it should be an easy fix, but I'm not sure.

OK practice squad. I value the opinion of the guy who was at camp over the guy who googled last years stats.

And yeah...a 17 year vet for this young team. :sign0098:

In all fairness, Brodie is a beanpole.I fear for his safety as he is pretty tiny for a QB. Although if he could find the confidence that doug flutie had we could really have something special. We really need to protect him this year so he can build that confidence. If he goes down we might be in for a long season . I have been reading alot of posts from people who have been at all the training camp practices and out options for backup qb is not looking good at all. Say a prayer for Brodie this year. I will be.

What about Thigpen? I've read some things that display confidence in him. Is that misplaced?

I think this is going to be a learning year for both QB's. Also, I think this is going to be a long year no matter what. Although, I hope im wrong. Im not concerned as much with Croyle's physical attributes rather than his mental. He has got to show he has gotten smarter this year and not make the same dumb mistakes as he did last year. He still has yet to win a NFL game and it wasnt from him getting hurt or not being able to throw the long ball. Its from him either being color blind and not being able to see a red jersey from the opposing teams colors or just not making wise decisions.

Experience plays a big factor in it as well. When playing against the best defensive backs in the world, sometimes the only way to know if a CB is baiting you is if you've seen him do it before. You can study all the film in the world and it still looks different when you're down on the field.

Wow. You're a real sweetheart. After all, does anyone really care whose opinions you value? (besides yourself). Or is the reason you talk down to people is because you live north of us. Whatever the reason, I want to thank you for such an insightful response. If this is the intelligent banter that got you to the hall of fame, I'll be happy to remain on the practice squad.
