Most of you probably know already but thought I'd issue a reminder that the first regular season game of the new season begins Thursday evening on NBC between the Redskins and Giants. At work this past week we've been talking about how Sunday Sept. 7th starts the new season. But I forgot about how the past couple of years or so they've used the Thursday night before the first Sunday of games to have the first game.
Of course, the first really important game does begin on Sunday the 7th because that's when the Chiefs play!
