Overall, these cuts were the no-brainers for the Chiefs.
The roster stands at 58 and they need to cut 5 more to make the 53 man limit.

I know Herm has his "youth" kick, and that the Hunts are having money troubles (why else rename our stadium?), but I would really like to see us go after a veteran offensive lineman and shore up this team a little more for the season.

My thoughts exactly. The Chiefs are approximately 31 million under the cap. They could do it if they wanted to. :D

ya know, there was a pretty good QB who was cut today by the Bucs by the name of Chris Simms. He has experience and could be a guy we could build around for a few years.
