16 1/2 pts by far the most lop-sided game opening weekend. I can see their reasoning - 4-12 going on the road vs 16-0. But they're not seeing what I'm seeing. Pats have an aging defense that didn't improve much this off season. OL nicked up. Brady injured and hasn't played. Look for Hali and co. in TB's grill all day. If we don't, Moss and Welker will be tough to stop. I see Maroney getting a lot of carries. Look for Pollard or Paige to run-blitz his a$$ all day long. This will be Tank and Turks coming out party. Johnson, Bowe, and Gonzalez? Are you kidding me? How can you not be excited about this team? I think the Pats are still reeling and Chiefs will not only cover, but will win outright 31-17!!!!   :yahoo:

I think 31-17 is pretty optimistic but, I dont think its impossible or even to win. Im not holding out hope that we win or ATLEAST give them a run for their money. I REALLY DOUBT that NE will cover. I truely think this is going to be the best test of our yound team and truely hope we make a very good showing if not pick up a upset!

Patsies lose at Foxboro to your Kansas City Chiefs. Done. We've got the talent, the youth, the speed, and the coaching to get this done. Chiefs record September 08: 1-0. BBQ over clam chowder. Its just the way it is.

While 31-17 might be a stretch, I think we have a pretty good chance to at least cover the spread. I told a friend of mine to look for the upset, he knows I am a Chiefs fan though so took it with a grain of salt.

He might get a surprise.

On NFL Network they were talking with Brady when asked if he would play he hesitated, might be the first missed game in 110. I dont think he will miss the whole game but what I do believe is he isnt going to be as Bradyish as he normally is and will not be as mobile. I also wonder if he will play the whole game. Hmm could the giant fall. Still remaining optimistic here, I think the Chiefs can pull it off and beat the Pats.

If Brady is in there, we need to be on him like stink on sh!t. Hopefully our linebackers can knock him out w/o help from db's. Otherwise could be a long day. Without Brady, Pats are nothing. They have no backup. Derrick, Tamba, and Dorsey should, and will, knock TB into next week. Its over, folks. Chiefs roll and Sportcenter Sunday night should be awesome!!!

It's all for me.

Probably just as well, I've got some odds to update over in the sportsbook, so I should keep my head somewhat clear.

Yeah, in about 15 more buds. In the meantime, who gives a rats' a$$ about what other people think. Its about winning the Superbowl. Your Kansas City Chiefs are well on their way. Enjoy the ride!!!:toast2: :toast2:

You mean our Kansas City Chiefs, don't you?

Yes they are OUR Chiefs :) And also your Chiefs. And MY Chiefs!

I watched a CBS preview of the game with Jason Horowitz and Charley Casserly. That accuscore computer where they simulate the games 10,000 times came up with NE winning 91% of the time and us 8%. May that 8% be the case tomorrow afternoon!

Casserly thinks for the Chiefs to pull the upset they'll need turnovers and at least a couple of big kickoff and/or punt returns. Well that's probably true, but hey maybe LJ, TG, DBowe, Kolby, and Brodie really make a lot of great plays for us. GO KANSAS CITY CHIEFS!!!!

And we know Dustin Colquitt will help us with field position :)

Also looking forward to how Brandon Albert does on the Oline and Glenn Dorsey on the other side.

It's their first game and exciting and no matter the outcome, we'll be ready to romp the Raiders at Arrowhead the following week!

F###ing puters do not figure in one factor, heart! Players can make great plays just by pure human spirit and heart! You can be the best player on paper, but a person playing from their heart can still beat you!!!
I will never forgive Shot and CP for not chosing Gannon!
GO CHIEFS!!!!!!

I like the optimism. I'm thinking the game will be a little more closer. But, the Giants showed how to beat NE. The formula, despite an offseason, has not changed. The Pats did not do much to help thier weakness. The Chiefs are underrated at the Def line, there will be some heads turned come Sunday, possibly whipped back by the impact.
