It means it will stay at the top of the forum so that it doesn't get burried under any other thread. :)

I was calling KC today but no one would give me a staight answer on how far the stadium is. It is in Blue Springs (i think). Is that far?

I'm not sure; not that familiar with the KC MO Area.

Lake Jacomo (JAckson COunty MO --> pretty nifty, huh?) is at most 20 minutes from the stadium, probably closer to 15. I think it is now called Lake Lotawana (no clue what that stands for). I'm originally from Independence which is the only thing sitting between Blue Springs and the stadium. I'm not sure about camping there.

I thought the stadium had camping this year - but maybe it was only RV's the night before the game.

In Blue Springs less than 50 yards from highway 70 are 2 hotels with rates of less than $30 a night. Nothing fancy, but a bed that is close to the stadium and numerous eating facilities within 5 miles. That would put you maybe 10 highway miles from Arrowhead. I think the hotels are Interstate Inn (used to have a nice nickname for it in highschool, but maybe kids read this...) and American something.

Good luck!

Well, before I was thinking that maybe you needed like a sleeping bag in addition to a steady supply of beer. :)

You can even camp at the stadium now. I don't know any of the particulars though.

I looked into that, but it is only the night before the game and I am going to be there on thursday until Monday. I might have found a pretty good deal for a flight and hotel though. Just have to save some ectra beer money.

I would need to stay in a Motel. My idea of "roughing it" is wearing a short sleave shirt. :)
