Pollard still has bad coverage skills, but his speed seems to have improved. Even if he's beaten on the play, he's able to catch up and make the tackle now.

i think he can still be real effective though like bob sanders and polamauelu

he showed real good speed catching up to mcfadden or fargas i forget who was running the ball, but yeah.

Yeah, at least Herm's building us a secondary. I feel like in the next 2-3 years we'll have a defensive back corps that's reminiscent of the Ross/Lewis/Porter/Cherry days.

Well first there will have to be short series of contract negotiations that eventually stalemate resulting in a two month hold out that will prompt Carl Peterson to finally wimp out extending a contract for 45 mil. As your agent, my cut will be a mere 45%. :D

Bedgood and Associates would happily work the negotiations for a mere 5%. Chiefster at our age $2.25 million will suffice. :D

I had serious questions about the guy the last two seasons, but he has really stepped into his own for the first two games this season. I hope he can maintain because he really has shown great signs of imprevement. Hopefully some of that will rub off on the rest of the team.
