New to the board

I am new to the board. Fan of Chiefs since watching Hard Knocks at few years ago. A couple questions: does appearing in HBO's Hard Knocks put a curse on the teams? What hotel do visiting teams stay at in Kansas City?:iamwithstupid:

I have seen visiting teams stay at the Marriott in downtown KC. I'm not sure that they always do, but I know they have in the past.
