Yeah, I know we suck. So what? How much fun is it to win the SuperBowl all the time. Winning is better if you have tasted defeat and I would imagine that most on this board have tasted neither defeat or winning. Since 1990 the chiefs have been a pretty dominating team but before that they had a rough patch but here we all are...Chiefs fans still! For those of you who have lost your way...Thats OK. I get it, it is frustrating. I broke several beer bottles in anger yesterday (all of them were empty) but at the end of the day, I had fun cause I was watching the Chiefs. My friends came over and we ate and we drank and we had a ton of fun. At the end of the day we lost. For some of you, that is enough to stop supporting your team. I hope that it is not a decision that you will regret. Myself, I am still gonna watch the Chiefs and get excited every weekend to watch themn play! This season blows, but how awesome was it when we beat the donkies. Just because we suck overall does not mean it won't be fun beating other teams up. I guess this is a season where we will have to look for the little things that make you smile and **** the sh!tty losses. Didn't you realist expect this anyways!! :bananen_smilies046:

Well, I would like to see a Super Bowl win sometime in the Peterson Era. Would I like to have multiple wins within 5-10 years? YES! Am I still going to be critical of them? YES! I was critical of them even win we were competitive. Will I continue to watch them play every weekend? YES! I will still continue to support them although will still be critical of them. Yes, I still want my Chiefs tatoo also! Just never been able to afford it! Good post Canada!:bananen_smilies046:

Will any of us continue to go watch the games at Arrowhead?

I will be a Chiefs fan regardless because I know the ups and downs of every team. But what is happening now shows that we know what is the problem but we seem to avoid fixing it.

Yep, I will be right there again in two weeks with my butt on the sofa and a cold one in my hand screaming and cheering the those 2 yard running plays right up the middle of the field.

Yep, me to, but not exactly cheering those 2 yard running plays, but most definitely screaming(kinda, maybe just cussing,) and a cold one indeed!

I pretty much think that anyone still posting on this forum will love this team unconditionally or they wouldn't take the time to be here. Venting or being a Homer.

I couldn't imagine any Chiefs fan coming here without wanting the best for the Chiefs.

i remember my dad taking me to the old stadium downtown to watch the chiefs. i remember arrowhead when it was a farmers field, and a bad one it was. i remember when the chiefs were so bad i could buy cheap seats and be moved on the lower level 5 min into the game.Born a chiefs fan,die a chiefs fan but sometimes Clark just seems not to have any pride in the team he owns. like now or he`d do somthing about carl, hermmie and his flunkies.

Absolutely right on!!! We do this every Sunday, regardless if we are going to Arrowhead or not. If we stay home someone throws down on the grub, someone brings the beer, someone brings the rumpy, and we watch the game as a group. Ups and downs. A few downs lately, that just means we drink more.....

Ive pretty much agreed with everything youve ever said Canada. I definitly am not done supporting our team as a whole. Unfortunatly I cannot miss a Chiefs game on Sunday morning. I wont because I just cant. But that does not mean that I am Excepting this. Im exhausted by it.

I have lived through horrendous years with the Chiefs before (See 1978-1988). I will live through it again if I have to.

Yes, I am a realist. Even though I do enjoy being wrong in those situations.

My nephew Aaron was rooting for the cowboys when they were doing great and the he switched to the broncos when Denver was doing better. I honestly don't know who he is rooting for now probably Giants because they won the superbowl.
I can't switch my loyalty as easily like he can. I feel a kinship with the chiefs...when they win I am excited but like a parent I am disappointed when they don't do as good as I know they are capable of. The chiefs have a habit of slacking in the 2nd half, it is so predictable. And when they lose when they coulda won, I feel like a knife just entered my chest into my heart but I still love them ... I can't explain why except its like parent loving their child, not neccessarily loving the bad thing they did. You don't throw away your child just because he did something bad do you?

Seek, Somehow I knew the chiefs would lose to Carolina.
1. It was a road game
2. Would you believe that the fact that the panther is a cat helped to tell me that it would be a loss? I have a cat that thinks it is a pitbull, all she does is hiss and growl at people who come to visit - hence, I knew the chiefs would lose.
3. It was a road game
