Yep; it has begun to take more than root. It is more than innuendo.

The Whisper Is Getting Louder.

The name on everybody's lips? COWHER.

Jack is now convinced that there IS a legitimate chance!

Dear God; is it possible that We The Fans might actually get something that WE WANT????

Is it possible that our Buck might result in BANG FOR ONCE????

I'm as giddy as a little schoolgirl...:D:D:D

I didn't want to say anything prematurely but my friend works at Arrowhead (mainly the practice facility) as security and he was telling me last night that he heard some staff and personnel discussing the possibility of getting Cowher.

I'm not religious. Some of you out there are probably not religious either.
Nonetheless;
PRAY.

 Thank you, but I really would have liked to accept and celebrate this honor two weeks ago when we beat Denver at home...

Again, thank you. And no questions, please.

I think that this might be the best post I have ever seen on this board...... yep it is the best.

P.S. Getting Cohwer would be amazing.... After watching herms press confrences I am over him all the way. The press asks legit questions that we as fans would like to know the answer to and sure as the sun will fu*&ing shine here comes some beat around the bush answer with a Sh^t eating grin on his face. Herm Edwards please leave Kansas City... It was a much better place before you got here.

On a brighter note two Bananas hittin it D style.

Okay, you heard him Nick; let's do it! LOL!!!!!

The bass was definitely taking away from the vocals...:D:D:D

Herm is a Master at answering the question while telling you absolutely nothing.
I once proposed a social experiment whereby 5 individuals would be isolated in different rooms to watch a Herm press conference. At the end, they would have to write a summary about what had just been discussed.
My hypothesis was that NO TWO PEOPLE would come to the same conclusion...:D:11::D:11:

And DON'T FORGET; when Herm leaves, we get to reap the benefits of the Edwards Curse; any time he leaves a team, that team turns to Gold almost OVERNIGHT!

Let me know if I'm "In The Zone" here;

Reporter:

"So what is your assessment of the current Offensive Line, and what adjustments, if any, are you looking to make"?

Edwards:

"I once tried to grow peaches in a Dominoes pizza box; the soil and conditions were not optimal, just not optimal". "So now I'm working on potatoes, you know"?
"I have to get ready, I have to be sure; the potatoes need to feel me".

Yeah, I think he'd compare growing potatoes to building an O-line!

I was talking football with my friend tonight and I saw three superbowl appearances for the Chiefs in 10 years under Marty (GM) and Bill (HC).

I don't know if Cowher would want to coach again for that long, tho...

It's just a pipe dream anyway...

Id rather have him as our GM rather than HC. I want him to be around for a LONG time, and I would trust his judgement on hiring coaches.

He would have gotten rid of Herm after the first season, that's if he would have even hired him in the first place.

C'mon Bill! Let's make Arrowhead one of the scariest venues for opposing qb's to play at once again! :yahoo:

I think and I have said that this is the only way we would get a new HC..... I have been preoccupied so I have not heard all the talk yet.

I would welcome cowher if he does come. I will support who ever is our leader. :bananen_smilies046:

It's working it's way across the Country; I had a very interesting meeting with a fellow-fan out here in the ****hole of Arizona.
He saw my DT jersey, walked up, and said "we gotta' get Cowher".
You KNOW it's already reached Bill Cowher's ears by now, and with all that young talent he would have at his disposal, and given complete control; I do believe he will jump.
The guy is a total competitor. Sittin' in that analyst chair may have been fun for the first year, but a guy like that? No way.
Every bit of my intuition says he'll be ready to fly out of that seat in a second with the right offer.
I've had a TON of people who are fans of other teams( minus Division Rivals of course )tell me they love coming to Arrowhead for the atmosphere; It's the Big Day Out and they KNOW IT.
If ever we were due to snag a Coach of that caliber; it's now.
Or at the end of this season anyway.
